Bollocks. Urban myth? I was quite boozed at the time, so I'll have to ask my pal about this "girl he knows".

Either that or it's genuine and I've heard it via another friend on another forum (not impossible, but vaguely unlikely)

I can't imagine anyone bothering to steal a suitcase from someone carrying only one, anyway. It'd undoubtedly be full of clothes, making it a very heavy and bulky thing that'd slow you down and make you somewhat conspicuous, and at most all you'd get out of it is a few books and maybe a hairdryer.

Yeah, some versions of it elaborate that the helper jokingly asks "blimey luv, wot you got in 'ere, a dead body?" and the embarrassed girl lies that "no, it is heavy yet expensive Amstrad midi system" (I paraphrase) *yoink*.

Still though, it clearly never happened.

I was fairly sure that one of the guys hanging outside Euston station yesterday was sizing up my suitcase. Never actually felt like that before.

Heh.

To be fair it was for a wedding so it had Suit and dress in it, and shoes. However, with the exception of that I took a t shirt, underwear, toothbrush and contact lenses. She took our spare room.

Drunk pilot "lost" an airport.
Quote:
Two hours later he was apparently so inebriated that he was unable to read the instruments telling him where the Schoengleida airfield was.

"Come on, I know you're down there," he radioed. "Where the bloody hell have you hidden yourself?"

Control tower staff say he also sang a few songs, cracked a mother-in-law joke and told them to "pull their fingers out as I've got a party to go to"

Superb. Also linking off from that page is the story of American Pie actor "silly dancey pie fuck boy" getting attacked by a monkey in Gibraltar.

First coat of paint is on, looks OK, needs a second coat though. And I think I'm going to be a pint of paint short.

Just FUCKING frustrating.

I'm nearly at the end, only trying to finish it for the achievement points.

Just you get so far on a mission, they are all the same, and then you click to go into cover and he dives into the tiniest most pointless piece of cover and thus gets shot at. ARGH! ANGER!
