I had seen pictures of:
Zardoz, markg, DavPaz, Fanny, throughsilver, Malabar, litlchef, Plissken, KovacsC, Kalmar (In blurry BurnyP vision, mind)l, Mr Russ, Mr Agent, Pupil, Nickachu, Kovacs (Why in Kovacs in the Page 1 list twice, under two different names). And I think I may have seen pics of Trousers before. What he looked like certainly came as no surprise.

Leaving only:
Mrs P, Mrs P (NB: Plissken and DavPaz do not share a wife) and BikNorton as people I'd not know. For some reason, I was expecting Bik to be a big metal-type guy with long hair and the like.

I just had an amusing flashback of Nickachu trying to persuade me to go our clubbing at 1am.

It's all my fault as you're still not on the list in the first post.

Now you are.

Nickachu was trying to convince you to go clubbing solidly for an hour! He'd semi pass-out then his head would bounce up and he'd wildly shout in your direction "Come on, come on, let's go clubbiiiiiiiiiiing!" It was most amusing :)

I spent around £70 on Saturday night, but only had 10 drinks...

Part of this was due to the Beardy Beardy Beer Club (uber-nerd chapter) pouncing any time I was near the bar.

Worth every penny, mind, lest anyone think I'm being miserly.

At least 3 times, people offered to buy me drinks and I declined, saying I was just about to get one for myself and MrsP, only for me to ask MrsP what she wanted and her to say 'Oh, Kalmar/Bik/Someone else is getting me one'. So, thanks for the offers chaps, and thanks for keeping the missus in drinks :)

I'd completely forgotten about the chompy dog which tried to eat everything. Given my Dog phobia, I was feeling a little on edge.

I only spent about 50, but I missed the Jagermeister party, would have been up for buying a round of that :)

@Dave: no, really not!
edit: there's a bad photo that the mac took of me without asking and then gmail adopted without asking, it could be that, if we've ever emailled.

Hang on... Doberman? I thought it was a cuddly Labrador! I think it's bite must have given you Jedi powers though Nik.

First of all we got dropped off near the tram station which is of course too far away from the house. So we made him travel on to Bik's house. The driver was saying "I need to charge you £18 now" and Nik was all <waves hand> "It's very generous of you to only charge us fifteen then"

Great work!

And thanks to those who took me to McDonalds as I would have got very lost walking back up the straight road. Sometimes I shouldn't be let out.

The same thing happened to us! The driver didn't know where the house was but knew the tram stop. We drove along and suddenly I recognized the Shell Station (where we'd seen that guy in the red pants and plastic hat), Citroen dealership and realized we were almost there. I couldn't think which way it was to the house from there, and then there was the tram station and we drove PAST it and kept going and the guy really took his time turning around to go back.

The creepy thing was, though, a pudgy man was watching the taxi with interest as we paid (just at the entrance to that pub) and so I said 'all yours!' and he said thanks and got in.

As we passed DUDLEY ROAD the taxi went past and we carried on walking back to Bik's. And then the pudgy man appeared behind and walked past us. Eh? What had he done with the taxi?

Ooh. Meant to say my photos are now up in the Beex Pool on flickr. Apparently my username there is On Treadmills, in case you were wondering.
