I've just paid £654+VAT for my Range Rover, and that's not including parts :(

Still, I expected a Range Rover to cost more.

Useless the lot of you :P

Some woman in a Merc was turning around on the car park outside, as she put the car into reverse it lurched forward and into my front passenger side door. It's only left a little dent thankfully though.

My insurance are being thoroughly useless about this and another incident though and I have been ranting at them for the last couple of days. If you see a rant thread pop up, you'll know why!

Never mind the size.
It's a shiny shade of blue. That makes me go "oooo" at it.

Yeah, I know... I'm amazed it was roadworthy to be honest, but at least it's insured!

Epson printers in particular are a bugger for this kind of thing. They try and put as many different messages onto one light as possible, that flashes at different speeds for different errors. How expensive are LEDs?

Atmospheric interference refracts some of the light in different directions. As a result, you see a composite image of the light coming from the star, some of which has travelled further because of the refraction, and appears less bright. The constantly altering atmospheric makeup means that the combination of light 'trails' reaching you varies constantly, which appears as twinkling.

I did my final year project at Uni about this stuff, and the adapative optics systems that they use to 'straighten out' the light. Deformable mirrors, guide stars etc. Very exciting.

S'not really a stupid question, and I know it's going completely off topic to what everyone else has been talking about, BUT I was wondering, seeing as you're all clever guys out there maybe someone could answer my question.

I'm thinking about taking neuropsychology in University..does anyone know where exactly that could lead me in the future? ?:|

Relativistic debt that you will pay off at a rate of £50/month for about 15 years.

If it interests you enough to study it formally for several years, do it. Screw the future. Civilisation will have collapsed by then anyway, or at the very least, the Chinese will take over the world. They'd probably be into neuropsychology too, so you'd be set.

I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned this yet, but it could possibly lead you into debt.

I got a statement from the student loans company the other day. 4 years after my degree, I still owe nearly £11k! I'm pretty confident I only ever owed £12k at it's worst. Hmmmm.

Short term debt that will possibly morph over the long term into the ability to charge people £400/hr to tell them that the reason they can't get erect is because all the cheese they're eating is playing merry hell with their neurotransmitters. Or something.
