Yep, public transport only. I guess it has no idea what the traffic will be like.

Didn't realise this was the android thread, works in car mode on the PC (which may not be useful) but may be an alternative.

Don't think so - I can see 'create new alblum/collage/animation/movie' but nothing for panorama. Maybe they don't trust people not to try and stitch wildly different pictures together.

Not much help after the event, but you could've take a panorama with the camera. Or, afterwards, I suppose you download a photo stitching app of some sort.

Post subject:  Re: Google Android

The usually reliable and excellent Google Now screen, has become distinctly erratic over the last few weeks.

For absolutely no reason I can possibly fathom it's decided that I'm really interested in American Football, specifically any matches that the Dallas Cowboys are playing in.

It's started putting recent news about them at the top of my Google Now feed, offered me video links, and has now even started blipping notifications at me about games that are in progress. (The Cleveland Browns are up 3:0 against the Dallas Cowboys right now!)

I aggressively swipe away/clear anything and fucking everything that it foists upon me relating to them, but they just keep coming back. It's getting quite annoying.

Now, I log into my Google account on every device I use, so that's main PC, media centre PC, kitchen PC, smartphone, Shield tablet, Chromebook, and occasional use of upstairs media centre PC - but never, ever, have I shown any interest whatsoever in the Dallas Cowboys on any of those devices, or read anything about them, or any other tangentially related activity I can think of.

I have wondered if it's some strange porn thing it's got a handle on somehow but I don't like cowboys in that way and besides which that's what Firefox in Private Window mode is for.

I've checked the customise options and there are no entries for sport in there, nor have there ever been. It does have a history on some things I've told it to fuck off about, like 'Interested in cricket?' to which the answer was of course 'NO'.

OH MY GOD EVEN AS I TYPE THIS POST IT'S COME BACK AGAIN.

Maybe it's my destiny to play for the Dallas Cowboys, or something.

For the Cowboys, Everett Gay would have done better had he not been a receiver in a rush orientated team.

You need to manually edit your advertisement preferences in Google's control panel, or whatever it's called. Log in on a computer and dig around.

I will definitely do that next time, up to now I've relied on angrily swiping the stories away, taking screenshots, and then moaning on here about it.

I'm sure it'll pop up again next week.

Post subject:  Re: Google Android

Yeah, you need to do that. Swiping away isn't a signal for "I don't want this content" because it can just as commonly mean "I already read this post somewhere else" (which is a strong signal that this is stuff you want to see.) Also, Google support does not routinely monitor beex, so moaning on here isn't going to help you either.

It's not routine, but it does monitor it.

If the photo had no date attached, or something's stripped the metadata, Google will pick up the uploaded date as the correct one. You can, of course manually adjust.

Because he and Mrs Paz were trying new things in the bedroom, and the "something" was the 5X.
