Heh, I like dropping smoke grenades under the feet of my team members that do that. Especially if they have microphones. It's amusing. Then I call them "big girls".

I rock.

It's a game, when else can you run down a road shooting an AK47 in the air shouting "FEAR THE POLAR BEAR!" a bit and aget a smile.

K/D is not everything, it's fun that is important.

True, but on the whole I enjoy it more when I'm killing people, as opposed to getting killed.

That said, some of my most enjoyable CoD moments have been playing Hide & Seek, and employing the Kangaroo Defence.

Fuck YEAH!

I bagged me a helicopter, with a couple of RPGs.

It's awesome.

I think I'm going to have to retire from this game. It makes me incredibly sad.

It's very rare to be issued with a forged British Passport by the Identity and Passport Service, given they make the real ones themselves.

I think we've had far more laughs arsing around in the myriad game types of Halo3 moaning like zombies and 'pound for shoes!' and rocket race and all hammers/swords/lasers than we've had griping about CoD4.

It's not as R3@LZ as CoD4 but there's no other shooter I'm willing to buy. And I have Halo 3, and it's good fun with a full house of Bezwins.

The problems I have with Halo 3 (after having gorged myself on CoD4) are, to name but a few:

1) It feels like you're walking through treacle at all times. It's sooooooo slooooooow.
2) It takes roughly seven thousand bullets to kill anyone - far, far more than in CoD
3) The lag is horrible
4) There's no customisation possible. The best players run fastest to the good guns, and you're stuck with bobbins if they get there first

It does have good points, namely:

1) Replays you can save!
2) Maps you can alter!
3) Fun vehicles!

But, well, meh...

I've always found the guns very balanced in UT. I hate the rocket launcher, for example, and prefer the flak cannon or minigun.

I played it. I didn't enjoy myself. I wondered what I could compare the experience to. I thought of a baked turd.

I don't particularly enjoy Hardcore mode, personally. I know Bobby plays it all the time, but it means I have to switch all my perks around, as I have 'Stopping Power' on pretty much every gun, which isn't too useful when one hit will usually finish someone off.

What annoys me about it is that at least half of my deaths every single time are from random fire. You don't need any sort of accuracy. So, so often an enemy is shooting at someone vaguely near me, and spray wildly. One bullet goes through a table and catches my big toe... and I'm dead.

I pretty much always end up positive on K/D ratios on regular games, and almost always negative on Hardcore. The only times I ever get positive are on maps like 'Bog', where I can sit at the back of the level and snipe.

I find the opposite, I played 5 or so games on hardcore team the other day and each game I ended up 30odd for 10 or so, and top of the team.
I tend to use stopping power and deep impact and it does the job, mainly best for shooting through cover. Its quite fun actually working as a team to find out where the other team is, asking people where they got shot from and stuff like that.
You need to be more quick sighted and firing really as without radar, you've got to listen for gunfire and footsteps. Its fun hearing someone walking near you, then stalking after them in crouch mode so they cant hear you then trying to get a headshot or knifing them

I'm not buying GoW2 until it's £20, as I've still not finished the first one. I'm quite happy to play CoD4 for a while yet, as I didn't gorge on it like most did.

Maybe in another timeline we co-habitate and play together. Forever.

Sorry Dr Curiosity that I had to leave suddenly, MrsA came home.

At least the bomb got planted and went off. Not sure quite why there was opposition to this way of winning the game though.

Yeah, some strange people play it as if the bomb wasn't there... which is really a bit silly, as what is Team Deathmatch for if not that? I suppose they want to get more kills and all that, for more lovely points, but complaining that you planted the bomb is a bit much.

Still, I did get to mock some child for saying that it's as laggy as a BLT.

I enjoyed some shooty goodness with Bobby and MaliA tonight. It was fun. Especially the game where we were all playing shit, and being carried by Catboy.

That was funny, shortly followed by the shout, "I knifed someone in the face" and then, much quieter, "I think he got the point."

Although the claims of camping were really funny, it is part of the game, if you don't want camping, play headquarters. I am using a sniper rifle, I am not going to run around with it.

That was funny, shortly followed by the shout, "I knifed someone in the face" and then, much quieter, "I think he got the point."

Although the claims of camping were really funny, it is part of the game, if you don't want camping, play headquarters. I am using a sniper rifle, I am not going to run around with it.

I'm quite happy for people to hang back with sniper rifles and pick the enemyscum off from a distance, as it free me up to get on with important stuff. Like running around in circles, stabbing people in the face and getting shot in the head.

I enjoyed some shooty goodness with Bobby and MaliA tonight. It was fun. Especially the game where we were all playing shit, and being carried by Catboy.

ATTACK THE CAVES!

"I've got him! No... he got me! Bastard!"

That guy got about a 20 kill streak from standing still in the caves while we dashed headlong at him.

:D

That was quite good fun as I enjoy trying to root someone out. That, and jum, ping on the other man's head was fun.
