I find the ACOGs slow and inaccurate. I much prefer the red dot, or just use a sniper rifle. Or both if I am playing Hardcore with overkill.

Can't we play something good for a change? Something where Dimmers will actually play and not get bored and wander off?

I think we were joking a bit about Uno. You can only have four players and Meaty doesn't have/want to have it.

It's a scope for your weapons that's more accurate than the red dot for far away targets, but pretty useless for people up close.

You unlock it after a completing the Marksman II challenge for each weapon. I can't remember how many kills it is, though.

Is the marksman the headshot one?

ACOGs are awesome. And in real life, too, they don't need batteries or anything.

150 kills for Marksman 3 and an ACOG.

No, just the number of kills. I might have the name wrong. The headshot one gives you different camo liveries for your guns.

Yeah its 150 headshots for a nice red camo finish, 75 for an alright blue finish, and 25 for the pretty sexy digital finish

Crikey, that ACOG make a world of difference. I love this game (albeit somewhat too late). I've now unlocked the Martyrdom perk, but I don't wish to get rid of Stopping Power on anything. Also, I like shooting people through walls.

YEAH!

BANG BANG A BANG!

Will do. I'm never on at a regular time though, I just tend to play 3 or 4 rounds then stop and go back to reading about how shooting people in the face is frowned upon.

This :this: I tend to play hardcore alot more now, you tend to get less annoying children on it spouting shit about nothing, and actually get some sort of team work going on, which is fun. And using martydom on it just doesnt work, you get far too many team kills. Stopping power and deep impact together are awesome perks :D

I hate Deep Impact more than any other enemy perk. Martyrdom is fairly easy to avoid once you get the hang of it, and Last Stand can be countered by just filling people with bullets. But I like to hide behind walls, and it annoys me when people can shoot me through them... but dem's the breaks. I'm sure my opponents hate my stopping powered M16, my Last Stand and my beloved Claymores too.

I MISS MY CLAYMORES!!!!!

(Just Prestiged up to Level 9)

On hardcore you dont get the grenade indicator, so its harder to avoid them.
Deep impact is so useful, ive got so many kills from shooting people though metal plates :)

Im on my 3rd prestige I think (the green one) and up to level 20 something, and only about 50 headshots shy of red tiger on my trusty M4.

Once you get to level 55 and have enough experience (about 5500 more I think)
You can prestige, where you go back to level 1 with none of the guns/challenges you have done
And start again. And you get a nice little thing next to your name so people can tell which prestige you are
The gold crosses are 10 prestiges, ie, people who do nothing else then play it.

But I think its a worthwhile thing, otherwise once you reach 55 theres nothing really to play for, and you can have different tactics in each prestige like sniping in one, using smgs in another etc...

So apparently I am getting the new Call of Duty, on the 360, being sent tomorrow.

What should I expect, all I know is it is on the COD4 engine, it is in WW2, it has dogs and zombies.

The multiplayer is like CoD4, but with dogs instead of helicopters. There is a bug on one of the maps that means you can fall into the floor and pretty much kill anyone at will, as you can't be seen.

I can't vouch for the single-player or co-op.
