No, it's just that you tended to play it for 10 hours at a time!

When you have more time logged at the game than me and Bobby put together, you know you're an addict!

Maths fail ?

Your time in game : 7d 14h 55m
Bobbys time in game : 10d 4h 47m

You + Bobby = 17d 19h 42m

Nicachu's time in game = 17d 17h 43m

In fairness, the screenshot is of the outside bit, which was always pretty light.

Though I imagine the inside will be lighter too.

We had some truly awesome games the other day. "The best ever" was bandied about willy nilly. Some even went as far as to say, "I am selling my copy now, for perfection has been reached." It is entirely possible that we have a tragedy on our hands, as I am sure I heard a mutter of, "there is nothing else left to live for" more than once.

Thats the problem , they released the first one for 1200 points and sold a million in a very short period of time - they have no reason not to charge 1200 points for the next one :-(

I got it as soon as I followed that link so I'm downloading now. It was going pretty quickly until I queued it for Jen as well so now it is crawling :(

Mine is still "content not found" , although when i booted the game up i got the title update straight away.

I wonder if they are doing this staggered rollout because of the issues with the last one

Not for Madonna, guy, and she's got tonnes of kids for you to pick from.

Which, I guess, makes it less likely she'd notice one was missing. Or care - as she can just steal more.

DAMN YOU MADONNA!

Well i got to play *most* of the new maps last night (still missing one) , and it seems it'll take a while to work out where the hidey points are - a few notes

“Carnival,” an abandoned amusement park with a variety of unique vantage points;

A large map and has multiple levels (below ground +at least 2 distinct above ground levels) , on Domination point B is the killer as its in front of the castle thingy and has so many routes in.
Lots of 'protected' areas to stand behind and shoot from - and theres a metal rocket model with a ladder in there which generally attracts a sniper (its got a really high vantage point) , and theres are also snipers generally on top of the coaster tracks

“Fuel,” a massive oil refinery with extremely long sightlines;

A *ridiculously* large map , when you play on team deathmatch with a low number of players its ages before you can even find people , multiple height levels (including an underground section) , lots of times when your moving across big open areas so probably a good map for snipers (i didnt do to well on it)

“Trailer Park,” a maze-like mobile estate surrounded by war-torn debris.

This one has a nice feel running through the trailers , and there are some nice long lines at the edges of the maps - can be quite hard to spot people in the undergrowth and theres a skip at one edge that people crouch in and are then hard to find.

Old maps :
"Strike,” a large urban center in the desert;

Reminds me of Crash - in that people already know it quite well and i dont - think this was only drawn twice during dozens of games last night (whereas trailer park came up loads of times)

“Vacant,” a fast-paced Russian office complex with few places to take cover

Didnt get drawn once.

One of the other problems from last night when it was just me and Ooster was that when the game time was S&D everyone on our team buggered off after they were killed the first time so the 2nd 'attack' was 3 of us against 6 of them (that didnt last long) - i know the idea of having a specific game mode for these means you'll just play the 'new' maps but it would be good to have at least some way of blocking out the game modes where people abandon like that.

In other news i finally maxed the AK47 (a rubbish gun) and have gone back to finish out the 2 remaining assualt rifles, and from Bobby's comments it seems theres something odd going on with the shotguns , not the 1887's this time but people with dual rangers were blasting and killing him from really long distances
