Apologies for the lack of link, but I can only view it on my phone.

I've not really enjoyed any fighting games since SFII back in the day, but this might be the one to actually convince me to get a hori stick.

That is a rather ringing review isn't it? But does make me wonder what it would have got if it was still 2D.... [\devils advocate]

The way that Arcade mode works (being interrupted by online challengers (unless you turn it off) sounds awesome.

I still play and enjoy Soul Calibur 4 infrequently, and wondered if I'd bother picking up the new Street Fighter.

This has swayed me somewhat.

I'll wait until either I've nothing new to play or it drops to £20 though.

One-on-one beat-em-ups are like Seinfeld. I don't like them, but I always feel like it's my fault.

I wish the Eurogamer review had said something about what it's like to play on a standard pad. I want the game, but I'm not going to shell out for an extra controller (or two) to make it playable.

Surely it goes without saying that it's going to be shit with a pad? The 360 D-pad is useless for anything.

Same here, which is why it's encouraging that this game goes back to the basics of SFII and is accessible for newbs.

Because people said that about Rock Band.

I find it a bit annoying when people talk of Eurogamer giving something a score. It's the reviewer which does. Though admittedly approved by Eurogamer. It's Simon Parkin who gave it 10/10 and I know he was obsessed with it a few months back. Probably still is.

There's about forty games most people outside of the beat 'em up world have missed. Check Eurogamer's Street Fighter retrospective (link plz).

360s have really good games, are quite cheap these days and look nice.

It would be nice to see a review from someone who was a bit less keen on SFII in the first place. That review tells me nothing. It's certainly not convinced me to think about buying it.

I want a review of it from the perspective of someone who liked the original SF2 a bit, but not mega-love... but who subsequently foud mega-love for the Tekken series. Apart from Tekken 4.
