I've got it, played the first few levels.
I was a bit sad that you don't use your sword 'properly' (you press A to swing, holding the wiimote either vertically or horizontally to chose the attack type), and the shooting bit is rubbish because you can't aim up or down, only left and right.
That said though, it's good fun. I also like the way your character wanks himself off to recharge his gun.

Bully is ace. It's Skool Daze done in a GTA stylee. If that sort of thing appeals, then get it. Not sure the Wii-control aspect will really add much to the game though.

back to school is one of my favorite spectrum games, so obviously it appeals to me. GTA never did anything for me, but i suspect that changing the gangsta/mafia theme for a school might do the trick for me

I don't see why the Daily Mail brigade made such a fuss about this. You play a 15 year old who's not had the love of his parents and gone down a slightly bad road, but in the game you're not the bully. You help and protect others from the bullies and learn to stand up for yourself.

Yahtzee did a review of NMH this week. One of the least funny reviews he done, imo. That's what happens when he enjoys the game.

I'm actually eating my lunch again right now, but anyway...

It's ace! The control system works really well without becoming tiresome, the graphics are ace in a kind of "getting the best out of a console generation" kinda way, and it's muchos fun. Definitely worth a purchase.

Sorry if you were expecting an essay, but I've been playing Resi 4 :p

People try to p-p-put the Wii Down,
Ju-ju-just because it's a graphical clown
With its wiimote it caused a big sen-sensation
Now just fuck off about it's g-g-generation!

I’ve also played a bit of Travis Strikes Back: No More Heroes.

It’s repetitive, in German so I couldn’t read the dialogue, and criminally boring. 2 out of 3 of those is inexcusable for a No More Heroes game.
