I would rather like to add this shot:
Image to the rotation of desktop backgrounds on my mac if a) you have a larger version online somewhere and b) wouldn't mind. I love those creatures.

The cobalt blue, or haplopelma lividum, is one of the tarantula species I was looking at buying when I was researching the two I've got at the moment.

Always been drawn to them thanks to their colouring.

I was put off when I read that they're nasty little fuckers and they won't hesitate to chomp your hand if you spook them. At least the two that I've got are relatively docile.

They're expensive too.

Well, expensive as tarantulas go. Compared to most pets, not so much.

Take our local Pets@Home which sells chinchillas for £90.

I could get a 32cm Pinktoe Goliath tarantula for £95.

And then buy a chinchilla for £90.

And feed it to the Pinktoe.

:P

I usually tend to take silly pictures. Like this one of Harley the coffee drinking cat.

Such a nice place, really quiet, massive buffets full of really good food for breakfast and evening meal. No pissed up cunts in England shirts anywhere to be seen, in fact hardly any English at all. We pretty much just spent most of the time lounging around and then diving off the high board and snorkelling around all the rocks when it got too hot. Not normally my type of holiday at all but it was just really relaxing doing nothing much at all for a week in a pretty place.

That too. I have no excuses either because I have it on DVD and watched it about two weeks ago.

Well, sort of leisure. I was up from Cardiff to Barrow for a wedding, and decided to pop round 'cos I used to see it whenever I had cause to drive past Lancaster. It's pretty neat!

Yes, that's right. Well, in memory of her, rather than 'for' her. I like to think of it as the Taj Mahal of North West England.

Zardoz - I am very disappointed I cannot see the second and third of your pictures, especially as one is titled 'Monkey Glomp'. Please fix.

PS: the exhibits seem a little out of date, there. They're not fooling anyone. They look only vaguely better than the Crystal Palace dinos.

Oh go on then. I'm a little late to the party so you'll have to forgive me.

My local beach in July.

Note : no fucking townies :DD

The car park. Indicating just how quiet things are.. Ahhh, bliss

Image

Standing outside my mother's house during that lovely Russian bit of weather that blew in last winter

Image

NJ - DE (Delaware) over the Delaware memorial bridge 2006.

Image

Seeing how fast my car can go down Route 50 west (Delware into Maryland) and noticed the clouds.

Image

Scioto national park Ohio (part of the Apalachians..)

Where I lived for about 5 years. A 14 Acre farm. Doc would have loved it here. We had Pearl Exports, Pearl sessions and about $35,000 worth of other random assorted musical instruments including a LPS gambler and casino. Thus, making noise didn't bother anyone and aside from PCs making noise is one of my favorite hobbies.

Other angle. Place was Woodstown south NJ

Finally don't forget to rock out.
