Oops, sorry.

I was a fair bit drunk when I typed that. Glad one of the mods fixed it. It was awesome though, I hadn't played a four player game that wasn't Halo since Moonstone on the Amiga.

It's fun in Versus 'cos you throw caution to the wind and just pelt it through there, terrified of the enemy respawns. Though for some reason the AI players have damnable trouble getting into the safe-rooms, preferring to spaz about outside. Tch.

Valve are making noises about wanting to package up, do the QA process, and ship some of the best L4D mods for the 360 -- although they say they'd probably have to charge (but would kickback to the dev teams, at least). Of course, Epic said the same thing about mods for UT3, and Microsoft put the kibosh on it. Fingers crossed though.

Aye, me too. Should be easy enough to get if we got five like-minded players together. Four survivors stand around together in a huddle, the other plays as infected. Once you spawn as a boomer, chocks away!

Do the puke on split screen. That's how I did it. The 3 AI knobs hang around the controller guy, park him round the corner outside the building on No Mercy, and then keep popping you boomer face around the corner to vom on them.

It's far more satisfying to do it properly. The cheer I gave when I got that achievement was immense, not least because it utterly fucked the opposite team.

Agreed, but we're getting to the point of no return with it, and in a couple of months I doubt I'll be able to get it otherwise.

I need that boomer acheev as well but I don't think I want to fake it, I'm not that bothered. Also, it's tons of fun tying to got them in game like when I was going for no special infected damage and sneak past all witches...who did I do that with? Riles and bobby maybe? That was a great laugh.

It never clicked for me, either. In fact, I'm not even sure I've played the game for more than a few minutes since that patch, seeing as everyone was suddenly bumming a game mode I didn't enjoy.

I guess that's how you feel about Versus.

I find watching TV terribly boring and non-interactive now. When I see the Sky planner pop up when I change channels I think I've won an achievement.

I think the standard four player campaign last much longer than versus, usually after the first level neither team ever makes it to the safe house and the game is over really quickly with tons of fun!

Apparently the new DLC campaggen deals with that by making versus a 30 minute jobbie instead of the 2 hour howler.

Of course, as you could start a versus match on any of the five levels within the four campaigns, we could have done that at any time.
