Stop calling him Santa, you American. He's Father Christmas and don't you forget it.

If I was a kid I'd be quite literally spazzing my face off at being able to track Santa like this. tbh I consider all the names of Santa to be interchangable.

There's nothing specifically "American" about Sinterklaas.

I've got more than one spare official 360 headset you acn have if you want it, Dimdims. I'll even remove the spongey bit. I won't be home until New Years though if you want one quicker than that.

Aye, I showed that to my nephew, he's way overexcited now, it's awesome! The baby niece on the other hand is too wee to do anything except soak up the atmosphere and gurgle at the Christmas tree :D

I have bought an Xbox headset from blockbusters. It is strange as it has the volume controls on the wire near the earpiece.

Yeah all the new ones are like that, they changed over when they started shipping the keypad add-on thingy. Is that annoying? I use mute quite a lot on mine, to shout at the dogs without deafening you lot, and I imagine having to fumble looking for the switch instead of just having it there on the contoller would irk me.

I've had that type ever since they came out (I got one free with my Chatpad). I prefer the volume controls, as they have a little clip you can put on your clothes or just let dangle. All my pads have Chatpads so the old-style one is just used for the Wheel now.

Just finished carving the beef and pork for the big dinner! Turkey is cooked but not carved yet.

I have sampled the beef and the pork and I must say I bloody know how to do a nice roast!

Let's just say I put the oven on at 07:00 and it was on until 20:30! and the little dial was pointing to S

Yeah baby

Merry Christmas everyone!

Ugh, my best mate has been in a train crash in Peru, apparently. He's okay, also apparently.

Don't know any details. I'll have to have a look on the news in the morning.

Also: merry Christmas.

This, really. It's not ideal, but is controllable as conditions go. Just take your preventer (brown) inhaler if you're prescribed that, and you're not likely to have the condition bother you day to day, I've found. Plus we have nice, cheap subsidised inhalers thanks to the NHS.

I got a Christmas card from my dad. Cheque for £50 - but he wrote my name wrong, wrong middle initial, so that's fucked then.

Have a better Christmas than I am, everyone!

Dear Queen,

Please hurry the fuck up and die so I don't have to see your miserable, expressionless face drawl out a speech that you didn't write every year. Then, while you talk about the great charity works of individuals and cut to shots of your silverspooned useless cunting grandkiddies, continue to express a complete void of emotion while standing in front of such a tediously arranged set in one of the many rooms of the palace that you shouldn't be in because you're so old, useless, and fucking well irrelevant.

If you could satisfy my request by dying before this time next year, so that I don't have to look at your stupid FACE on my TV next christmas, I'd be most grateful.

Sincerely,

The Gnome Republic

It does mean you have an option not to look at her face. One I think you will find rather more effective than wishing death upon her in our public, but humble, little forum.

Yes yes, for the sake of disclaimering, I should clarify my wish to see her dead as vague and not an indication of a plan I am hatching.

Why do I get the feeling you're being antagonistic towards me, Gaywood?

Whew-if my Grandad wasn't blind and he was on here he'd be frothing at the mouth at Comical :D

He makes sure to stand in front of the tv throughout it every single year and make everyone else do it-it's mean like but noone does do this, but they tell him they do :( I just say, 'Grandad-she doesn't really do anything imo for the country, she doesn't go into battle like Kings and Queens of old and they don't really have too much to do with the running of things, so why have them?

Then I kinda maybe got banned from going to see him over the Christmas period :S

Disclaimer: drunk post. I really fancy one of the barmaids in my local, but through our aimless chats I have discovered she has a boyfriend, though one she doesn't appear to see a lot. Does this make asking her out completely wrong? I grow tired of this 'being single' shit. Oh, and belated Merry Christmas all!

The expression, "Don't shit on your own doorstep" does spring to mind. Of course if you have other pubs you can go to if it all goes wrong then you might not mind :)

My favourite barmaid once showed me naked photos of herself.

But, if I were you, I'd avoid women that work in pubs. Unless they are 18, and up for a bit of fun.

Should be fine. A mate and I at university got bored and spent a morning writing each other £1 cheques to see how ridiculous a name you could write and still pay it in fine. He got up to successfully paying in a cheque written to 'Big Man Willie' but the cashier baulked when I tried to cash one to 'Steaming Fuckface'.

I've had to return my deposit-return-cheque from the villa as the bank wouldn't accept it because it says 'Mrs' instead of 'Miss'. Bah.

Did Gaz's brother not fix the cooker then?

I just nearly killed my TV (and myself), I shouldn't be allowed near ladders on my own. ?:|
