Top Southampton High Street Memories

1 - Seeing and playing the GX4000 for the first time on the arcade machine style demonstrator in Dixons. Had to queue and everything.
2 - Buying Quattro Combat and Quattro Arcade in WH Smiths.
3 - Buying Wing Commander for my A1200 and reading the instructions in WH Smiths.
4 - Buying Shadow Of The Beast on C64 cartridge for £15.99.
5 - Er.......

If the traffic for it has to go down the same road as the West Quay carpark and retail park then there will be mayhem. On a busy day it can already take 20 minutes to get down that stretch. Too many traffic lights.

Yeah 2 or 3 weeks ago, not getting a new major project till the new year, supposed to be bug fixing.

Which in practice of course means that on the Monday before xmas what I'm actually doing is downloading some game demos to see what I can set up a network game off on xmas eve.

This week I will mostly be playing Luxor on my work PC and Virtual Pool on my iPhone. Working 8-3:30 today and 8-2 tomorrow and Wednesday.

Next week I'm working 8-12 Mon and Tues. I love Christmas.

We are installing a new network at a customer site and it will take 60 days, from ordering to complete install... that is not good for them they want it in 30 days..

I still have work to do - this is the trouble with working in technical support when your major contract is an electronics retailer. At Christmas. Their printers are breaking down a lot at the moment.

Also, a girl in the office who has always been really nice and friendly to me is having issues with someone else here, to the extent that she's now considering leaving. I have bought her flowers to cheer her up and show her that at least some people in here appreciate her (though I won't hand them to her till after work to save on the whole piss taking thing that will undoubtedly ensue). It occurs to me now that all I need to do is find some easy way of getting laid regularly and I'll have made up for most of what I'm missing by being single.

Work appear to have blocked beex. Fuck.

Even though I couldn't talk to any of you despite plugging two different fooking headsets in. That's happened to me a few times in the past - do you need to plug the headset it before you turn the controller on or is it just glitchy like that?

I was tempted to plug my camera in quick so you could see my handicapping system I employed - my 2 year old daughter sat on my knee. Having never played it with the full power up set or with bezzies the "aids" thing probably made me laugh far more than it should have.
