I voted NO, HELL NO. FUCK YOU WITH YOUR TAXES ON TOP OF TAXES, CUNTS.

I almost ran out of room on the ballot paper but I think my sentiments got through. I'm delighted with the outcome. The fucking Yes campaign's adverts have been really sneaky and scummy. Cunts. Woohoo!

During CG's Frank's lean years, my mate gave him a lift back home to Manchester after a gig. Frank sat in the back of the car drinking Barcardi with his head sitting on the other seat.

I find it unnerving that Frank's hands have got a lot older while his face has stayed the same. Whenever I see him now I can't help but stare at the hands.

Brrrr.

I'm still here.

For 8 minutes.

I'm going out for a curry tonight.

I fucking was going to go out for a curry, but now I've got the cunting man-flu and can't face leaving the house. I don't even have the dosh on me to order a takeaway delivery! Grrr!

Don't worry about you voicemail Shin, it amused me! The place where we were having our works do is outside Orange's signal range, and what network do you think our work phones are on? I'm not convinced this was a coincidence.

I feel your pain, I thought I'd got rid of my man flu by taking monday and tuesday off work but I'm completely fucked with it today :(

Had curry yesdterday though. Home made. It was good.

Plus if I want a takeaway now I'll have to traverse back through that foot-deep flood between here and the shops :?

AND it's my work's night out so everyone else will be having a great time. Well, perhaps not.

Attention all.

You all know me from my sunny disposition and genial nature. Some of you may have doubts, both expressed and unexpressed, as to my capacity for the human emotions of disappointment, contempt, rage and glee-in-mockery.

I have just been to see The Day the Earth Stood Still.

A long review in a new thread shall follow shortly. After I've had something to eat, a beer, and seen a Seinfeld.

OI congratulate the sheer balls of whomever decided to have Christine Ohuruogu utter the line "What does it take to be a champion?" on the BBC sports personality of the year.

Because of course in her case the answer is "Lots of drugs and an innovative approach to turning up for tests"

Sorry to hear that too, Chris. Hope he picks up very soon, the poor fella. Guess I'll have all this to look forward to myself soon enough.

Talking of which, I've been proper ill the last few days. Preggers-Ex came round for a bit on Friday night to offer tea and sympathy (and to give me a few early Birthday presents to cheer me up - and she's always very good at finding silly things to make me smile). We had a really nice chat about our situation, in which I was particularly shocked to hear her tell me how sorry she was that Former Lady Zio had left me over all of this and how she's secretly terrified of being a mum and not always 100% sure she did the right thing by keeping the baby. I told her that I was actually now looking forward to being a Dad and that the pair of us would make excellent parents, even if we would not actually be together in a relationship to do it. The fact we can be good friends though should be a massive help, I would hope.

So generally, I've been feeling pretty positive. So much so that, inspired by the recent online dating thread, I thought about joining up to one of these sites myself and getting myself back out there, so to speak. Time to move on and all that. So I decided to dust off the old portable HDD with all my old photos on it to see if there was anything worthy of being used for a profile photo. And lo and behold, what do I find? Tons and tons of photos of myself and the aforementioned Former Lady Zio that I totally forgot about. She really is the most beautiful woman I've ever met and I really am such a total, incredible, huge fucking twat to have lost her.

If there is a God, I would like to say this to him: I get that you apparentely want me to be a Dad. I get that myself and FLZ aren't meant to be together. I get that I need to learn from my mistakes. I get all this, I really do. But can you please start making it a touch fucking easier to deal with, please? And can you cheer up my apparentely devasted, yet absolutely in no way willing to even speak to me, ex? I worry about her, and I'm sick of fucking worrying about her as I can't very well get over her while I do, now can I? Many thanks, your friend, Zio.

The cold that I acquired on Wednesday night/Thursday morning goes from strength to strength. Out of the 30 minutes I've spent at work so far, approximately 25 of those have been spent coughing and wiping my nose with tissue.

Hopefully it's not going to last much longer now.
