I've had my present this morning thank you. I've had a bit of a squish and it feels like it might be thick socks or gloves. Hmm. It shall go under my tree now. :)

I'm looking forward to openeing my Secret Santa gift tomorrow - I hoe that people post pictures after Christmas of what they recieved. I also hope that the recipient of my gift enjoys it! I have given the stocking a squeeze and it seems like a few small boxes are inside, oooh, it could literally be anything :DD The more random the better, I think. Craig's secret santa gift did not arrive, though :(

Well, enjoy your pressies, people!

I'm excited by it too. Mine's sitting under the tree - I think it's a tortoise, but we'll see tomorrow.

Mine is sat under the tree, wrapped and ready to be opened tomorrow.

I do think I worked out who it is from, though. Purely by accident, because for some stupid reason I remove my address labels from stuff I bin/recycle, and this had another address sticker underneath.

:)

The targets for my CD swaps could definitely do that. I even used a jiffy bag that had been sent to me by another BeeXer in a CD swap. Reuse! Recycle! Resomething else!

OK, so I thyink that my Secret Santa stocking was just about the best thing ever!

Attachment:
stocking.jpg

Firstly, it was all wrapped in a big red furry stocking (1), which doubles the cool points straight off. Inside was a nicely made (on nice decent paper) book of sudoku puzzles (2), which I shall be firing my synapses over later. Then there was a paper holder/stand (3) in the shape of a shoe which has the best bit of mangles English I have ever read:

Quote:
Papaer Stand: It's NEW! It's Different!

New aristocrat for desktable, good assistant for word process.

Could be put on the regular table, computer or typewritr, easy for writing and high efficiency for word process.

1 - 10 pages of A4 size could be put at the one time.

Easy-up is depending on your actual wants, it could be removed easily without any limit.

Strict clip up for any paper & document and no any falling condition will be happened

Anyway, I'll get a lot of use from this as it will be great for holding knitting patterns, etc.

Also, there was Mrs Beeton's book for Christmas (4) which I could have done with earlier in the day - I love Mrs Beeton's books but have never seen this one before, so it is a definite :luv: . Also there is a complete miniature croquet set (5) with a little lawn to play on - it has everything - Monkey and I are going to have a game later. (6) is some bath confetti in a cracker - pull the ends and snowflakes fall into the bath, and they smell gorgeous. (7) is a worry doll with a difference, her legs are rather long...

Quote:
There is a story that when the Mayans of Guatemala have worries, the tell them to the worry people and then place the worry people under their pillows at night. By morning the worry people have taken their worries away. So, don't worry about keeping track of what page you are on. Let the Worry No More Book mark do it for you!

From the Mayan people to You.

And last but not least is (8) Great Expectations... but not! It is a book with a secret compartment for your valuables, and it looks great! Somewhere to store my pocket money!

Sorry for the slow update but last week I received my secret santa gift. Unfortunately the outer packaging had become damaged necessitating the (undamaged) contents to be placed in a clear plastic posting bag by the Post Office. I remained unaffected by the Post Man's raised eyebrow.

Still without further ado marvel at my cock-purse:
