I was methodically sorting out my Firefox bookmarks tonight, because that's the kind of thing I do when I'm sat at the computer doing anything but the work I'm supposed to be fucking doing, when I came across one of my favourite links. They're not highbrow art (they appeared as part of series of skits on a food label, it says here), but they were sincere depictations of what a Frenchman in 1910 thought the year 2000 would be like, and therein lies the mirth:

That school one is fantastic. The first one is a bit weird though - what exactly is going on, and why do the women have no waists?

I can't tell if this one predicts those 'interactive movies' as seen on the Mega CD and CDi, or webcam-assisted Skype conversations. Don't know any French at all, me. :)
