OH NO, did anyone see the news that fonejacker has been cancelled for the same kind of abusive purile irresponsible phone calls!

No? That's cause it hasn't. Perhaps Daily Mail readers don't watch it...

EDIT: Al Murray is rubbish: See his hopelessly 'out of his depth' appearance on Mock The Week.

Didn't see that. I've seen him being very good on it, though.

I hope someone hips them to Al Murray pretty soon.

The Daily Mail targetting an act who spouts ill-informed, just this side of racist, Little Englander bollocks? You're in for a long wait, mate.

That's true actually.

Bollocks :(

Not overly fond of Al Murray on TV (where he seems to be toned down somewhat - as you would expect), but his live shows are superb.

I've got all the live dvds and I saw him in Manchester a couple of years ago and he was excellent.
When we left, he was in the foyer, happily chatting to fans, signing autographs etc. Top bloke.

Obviously, everyone has different tastes in humour but I think he does what he does (live, at least) very well indeed.

The more professional and mature comedians appreciate the fact that you have to tone your stuff down for transmission on public TV. Ah...

I'd go even further and say it's time sensitive in it's subjectivity, for me at least. A lot of the more pratfall based comedy I have to be in the right mood for, as well as the more clever character led stuff. Even so, there are some comedians I simply don't find funny, but shall wisely withhold names as I haven't seen any of them live, and it does make a massive difference.

I think Al Murray is very funny, as he's a composite of a bunch of characters from my local.

At least the Nazis were polite and didn't make phone calls to Jewish grandparents telling them they'd shagged their grandchildren before incinerating them all.

Honestly, you liberals need to get your priorities striaght. It's people like you that are causing this country to go to the dogs.
