Oh no, jinxed it. It hasn't healed yet, so another fortnight in a cast, totalling 9 weeks with metal holding me together.

Finally got to see my x-ray though. This fascinates me on the same level CG's brain must have done to him.

I like the right hand xray. The surgeon even thought of putting his signature on the bottom right of your arm.

Fascinating though nyn, and not a little bit creepy. I'd be mildly disconcerted if I could see 5 or 6 screws deep into where my bones should be.

In my experience, they just get insanely jealous that you can now auto-fellate.

It was when some bastards jumped me and a few friends (shortly after I moved to Shropshire) and there was a scuffle, thought they were after our purses-looong story, it's on here somewhere. Needless to say I didn't exactly find Shropshire to be the nicest of places :s

Heh, thanks Meems.

I already have a plate and screws in my wrist, and that hasn't set any alarms off yet; hopefully this one won't either!

I'll be doing my first test-run in 2 weeks. I'll make a video and Youtube it. Christ knows what it does — it looks crazy!

It's ace, but I still feel massively disconnected (gaps! ho ho) from these images because all I'll ever see is the great big scar.

I'd love to see my brain like you did, but MRI = NO! now.

Annoying and painful, isn't it! I broke a couple earlier this year when I left my iPod in my jacket's inside pocket, then had a faceplant while snowboarding. Everything was just left to heal by itself.

Hmm. Shattered elbow, shattered wrist, shattered eye-socket, broken ribs. I need to stay indoors.

Oooh >.< shattered eye socket? Jesus! That makes me cringe. They giving you fun stuff to eat though for it? What pills you on? :p I had like muscle ones to reduce the inflamation of the area around my ribs, it was all bruised up and nasty. I was buggered up for ages through it, get a few twinges now and again but only if I do something daft.

I remember when they used to bandage the ribs up! But of course, not allowed to do that anymore. Horrible *shivers*

Also thanks for finding that Mimi :)

To be fair, the doctor said because I wasn't having trouble breathing and the pain was manageable with drugs, he wasn't going to x-ray me; the injury could have either been cracked ribs or just heavy bruising — neither of which are serious, and both have the same fix: time and rest. I didn't get any special things to eat.

The eye-socket was from getting beaten up at Chester train station in my teens. Fortunately it had no effect on my sight, so they chose not to operate; the pieces are still in my face somewhere.

It's quite cool getting people to slowly feel along both of my eye-sockets though, and seeing their face when one of their fingers starts dropping and poking my eye directly. I'll never tire of that.

Oh that was lucky. I was on tablets to ease the swelling for ages! They were like bloody horse tablets or something the size of them!

Chester is a mighty scary place sometimes, especially the station :s you were bloody lucky though that it didn't do anything to your eye! Whew. Eugh >.< nasty party trick!lol.

My one is that people can push fingers in the holes in my knee caps from my keyhole surgery :D they don't look bad though, scars are very old and white now-but then so are my legs :s I look like the Milky Bar kid-or a Daz ad!

My hole in my head (yes, where my brain fell out) does bug me, you can only really see it if I look shocked or frown heavily. I went down the stairs in my walker when I was a baby (dad left the gate open at the top of the stairs) and I cracked my head open on the front door :'(

Do the votes on these polls carry over when the poll changes? This thread has featured three polls to date - does the vote count reset for new ones?

So the 25 people who are sexually attracted to Craster might've voted to to say Shin is most likely to post the most on this thread?

I think polls reset when you change the possible answers, but not the question. The answers have been fixed at yes/no in this thread throughout.
