People in "playing games people like playing" shocker.

Now if people promised to play Forza and didn't, you might have a point - but as far as I can tell only Meaty said he was playing.

I was a few minutes late (Mrs Metal was trying to get the Flapyak she captured to become resident in her Viva-pin-garden) and when I arrived it was either MW2 or Arse Effect 2.

I moaned to Dimrill about this, and he suggested we play MW2 spec ops!

Inv me and I will (probably) join. I'm sure this is the case with most of the Bezzies.

It's that this happens pretty much every night, and so I can't be arsed to go online.
And yet, when I said I was thinking of not bothering to resubscribe to live because of it, I was told to spend the £40 or whatever, and three months later, that's looking like such a good investment. And yet I'm seeing snide comments about how I only play with Dimrill.

It's because he's the only one who doesn't play the same old broken shite every night.

Like I said - different people like playing different games. I had a long phase of not playing anything online because everyone was playing Gears and I wasn't a fan. You can't exactly complain because people are enjoying playing games that you don't like.

Hold on, does Dave not like Modern Warfare 2 or something?

AceAceBabii was playing Forza 3 last night.

Right, so: Dimrill.

Yeah, and as noted, I've been getting snarky comments about only playing with him.

Dave, you should know me well enough by now to know I'll drop whatever I'm playing to play with bezzies. As I've said before, MW2 is a self-perpetuating prophecy: people play MW2 because others are playing it, because others are playing it, etc etc etc. I will happily play anything that I own with anyone who wants to play it. UT3, Halo, Gears, Battlestations Midway, IL-2, Borderlands, Top Spin 2, anything.

The main problem, Dave, is that you never invite, suggest or organise anything yourself - it's a self-fulfilling prophecy. If you sent a few speculative messages or invites out, I'd be happy to play whatever, but you don't.

I've been trying to get people to play L4D2 for a while (not this week because I'm busy), but it's tough sometimes. I don't threaten to quit Live because of it, though.

If you don't come online and ask people to play games with you, they never will. It's quite simple.

Yeah, and despite this wednesday and last wednesday being Forza night, what has happened? MW2.
As I said, I can't be arsed. You can play shit all you like, but I've just reached the point where I've given up.

Don't forget how quickly Bezzies can drop a seemingly ZOMFG game, Mr Dave. Look at TF2, L4D, UT3, RNLI etc.

Chillax Dude, Kowabunga.

We played GTA IV this week - you couldn't be arsed.
We played Halo 3 a few weeks ago.
We've played L4D2 here and there over the last few months.

You're talking arse, (I mean that in the nicest possible way, of course. This is coming from someone who is also frustrated with the ubiquity of MW2).

Paaa I have Forza 2 and 3 if that helps... I just read Dave and MyP's moaning at each other and thought I'd add I have L4D2.

House full of water is getting better by drilling large wholes in walls and floors... indeed most excellent.

I did notice a lot of the quieter time started when Mr Chris announced his intention to stand for election.

I believe he has taken a number of the more prolific posters on here to work in his campaign
You can expect them back when we are under his iron fist.

BTW i have this game - and I'm rubbish at it - so if you want to not come last feel free to join in !

Sorry I couldn't turn up, but as noted on twitter, I had a very bad pizza experience, and I don't think I could've coped with the strain.
