I read earlier that some parts of series 2 (I think) were actually filmed on location in London, so I'm curious to know if those are the scenes you're talking about

Not sure which thread is best for this but 'Trainwreck' (the story of Woodstock 99) on Netflix was really compelling viewing - I sat through it all in one go. I did not realise quite how out of control it got. Crazy scenes. I had also forgotten how much Limp Bizkit suck.... and yet at the same time their music does exactly what it's intended to and gets people hyped up. Even though I know it's a bit shit really, when something like 'Rollin' comes on I can't help but turn it up louder and get psyched up. |

Unless you ask me whether I liked the first episode, at which point I’ll tell you that I was utterly fed up of the endless “quips”, didn’t find it much amusing and I certainly didn’t much like the look of the SheG-Hulk. |

The Umbrella Academy continues to mix really interesting and exciting parts with a fair amount of dull and boring tripe (often multiple scenes of each within the same episode). It felt like S3 took a while to get going but I am enjoying it now. |

Caught up on a bit of TV over the weekend. The Sandman LOved this show, the cast was amazing. Loved the pace and the story. One question, what was the last episode? That felt like a bolt on. The Umbrella Academy Season 3 That was even more odd that the other 2 seasons. The ending did not sit right, jus a bit WTF moment. Shame really. |

For the Sandman if you mean episode 11 then yes they released 10 episiodes in the series then released an 11th a few weeks later (I suspect as some trick to try and keep it at the top of the ratings for longer) , the two stories in episode 11 are both from individual comics They have confirmed there will be an Umrella Academy Season 4 but thats where it will end - I did enjoy season 3 but yes a strange end that I suspect will be undone in some way near the start of Season 4 |

I've started watching Elementary, the New York-based Sherlock Holmes series, with Jonny Lee Miller and Lucy Liu. I'm only 5 episodes in and I'm pleasantly surprised, it's pretty compelling, JLM seems to be having a blast and the stories are pretty well put together too. As with a lot of this kind of stuff, there's enough clues in the episodes that you can usually work out whodunnit before the reveal, but half the fun is watching Sherlock explain his deductions and then be proved right anyway, so that's no bad thing. |

After a rocky start, She-Hulk has turned into fun lighthearted romp of a show. The CGI is atrocious though, She-Hulk wouldn't be out of place in a live rendered video game sequence. |

Watched the first two episodes of The Rings of Power. Very slow paced and very beautifully shot. I think it will turn out to be an awesome. She Hulk is great. Yes the CGI is not perfect, but for me it does not take away from it. I like the 4th wall breaks and how it pokes fun at toxic fans and misogyny. |

@gazChap we went into elementary with very low expectations and really only because there was nothing screaming at us to be watched and I know Jonny Lee miller is an entertaining scenery chewer. We smashed all 7 seasons to the exclusion of everything else. There are low points but it always recovers and while they definitely don't need to make more I wish they could find a good reason to - I'm not going to create it but I'm wondering if an 'ongoing deluge of marvel TV and film on Disney+' thread might be needed... (Maybe also "all the cracking Korean stuff Netflix are buying up") I Am Groot is an entertaining distraction marred only by Disney+ treating them as separate things rather than a series so a faff to follow. Lots of bonus points for fast-forwarding through the interminable marvel crawl. She Hulk is great fun. Lots of bonus points for taking the piss out of the MCU throughout the 3 episodes we've seen so far, including irrelevant, irreverent post-credits scenes. There's an Agent Coulson one-off that is also derogatory to the MCU. I think it's fairly clear the show people get that it's all becoming very STFUorGTFO in many respects but the suits won't address it properly. (I would say, cross-ref movies vis. Thor love and thunder, they tried the odd potshot there too but higher stakes so fewer risks) |

Does anyone watched "Mo" on Netflix? It's another dramedy created and starred by a comedian. As usual (e.g. Louie, Master of None, Feel Good), it's quite good and funny. Mo himself is extremely likeable, and playing (as we was irl) a palestinian "illegal" refugee makes for an interesting view. Also, it's set in texas, and anything other than NY or California is always an upside. |

You’ve pissed away 5 hours of TV. House of the Dragon is taking a steaming piss on your face week after week.” I don’t want it to be true, mainly because of all the unfair shit it’s been getting from ‘the internet’, but this is really squandering the shit loads of cash it got threw at it and arguably one of the most recognisable and best fantasy names. It’s the cash that pisses me off too. All this money to animate some static backgrounds and bollocks? Where’s the money REALLY going? If I had a near infinite amount of cash I’d be doing some crazy shit with it and making the wildest TV anyone had ever seen. I’m just flabbergasted that someone thought 5 episodes of ponderous nothing was going to set the world on fire. |

Kleo is very funny if you're German. I've spent enough time in Germany to see that. Unfortunately it fails flat to non -german senses of humour, at least mine (and Germans and I tend to make each other laugh). I can see *why* so many things are funny (including what I'm sure is an homage to Monty python's quest for the holy grail) but they just don't land. Or maybe that constant internal analysis is ruining it for me. But it's also "nice" to learn how shit that period of history was from a different perspective. |
