Ok, so I'm back online at home so can do this again now. What does everyone think about this? Because the forums are fractured now we know that some people haven't made their way over here, so I'm going to put it to the vote.

The options should be self-explanatory, but just in case:

Continue and Arrange
Any matches with WoS members can go ahead, but it is the responsibility of the BETEO member to contact their opponent via whatever means necessary.

Continue and Forfeit
We carry on with the tournament as it is, but forfeit any matches for players that don't respond in the BETEO thread.

Start Again
Nuff said. Would be a ballache to have to start all over again, but on the other side of the coin would allow new BETEO members to join in.

I'll leave it to democracy to decide.

Can you not just carry on, but postpone matches until the end of the "season". Then, if those matches have yet to be resolved (as in: the player hasn't signed up/relpied here by that point) then they forfeit?

I had thought about it, but to be honest, there'd be more unplayed matches than played.

I am torn between carrying on and starting again.

On the positive side of carrying on, I will keep my win over Myoptikakaka... but on the negative side I will still carry the stigma of the humiliating lag-ridden loss to CUS.

Decisions, decisions...

Lazarou is here as SisterCheeba, and Ramsea and Big Leppy were ever really on WoS that much anyway, being more live based people, and Mr A. Dead had withdrawn anyway.

And it was an absolute nightmare finding either of them to play matches with. Big Leppy fucked off skiiing for weeks on end without telling anyone and Ramsea said he'd been cut down to just one day a week for gaming (our Forza nights).

As much as I hate to say it (because he's a terrible gloater MR POKEY TONGUE FACE), I think Pundie was right about the first round going on for too long. We'd have finished it by now. Lessons learned and all that.

Loq did sign up to WoB (and not to cause grief) - he may be along soon enough. I'll say nothing about Mr Lemon and his apperance.

After what he said on WoB, I'd put a vast amount of money on him not appearing here.

Ok, the poll is going to run until next Monday at 12:45pm. That should be long enough to get a decent amount of results.

Planning ahead like the clever sociopath that I am, I had WoB already installed and prepared. It took me mere weeks to psychically convince Stu to do a 0.7 on the Mao scale, and then scant minutes to personally message everyone on WoS and convince them to forever more log on at WoB, and only at WoB.

AND THAT WAS JUST THE BEGINNING OF MY WRATH. PHASE MOTHERFUCKING ONE.

Lets see:
I was right when I told Dimrill that he'd love CoD4.
I was right when I wrote my review of TF2.
I was right when I said that Randy Orton would retain at Wrestlemania.
I was right when I said that the first round of the SWoS tournament would turn to shit.

Continuing the matches is in the lead now, as I changed my vote purely to make Pundabaya wrong.

wel i think there are twi choices continuing and starting over, and when you decide to continue, than you can decide how, so it's now (8+4) - 6 and 8-4

It'd be a shame to have to start again. It'd be good to try to finish this one, then maybe have a quicker cup or something after it.

To be fair, I voted for 'start again', but that's mostly because I wanted to play too, which in retrospect was a grossly unfair thing for me to do. I am sorry.

Ok, in the light of a tie and some of the comments in the thread, we'll carry on. I need to get in touch with Dimrill as he's got the results posted on WoS during the time I was away from the forum.

How about continue, and replace the absentees with people who want to play (either get them to play all their games again, or if there is no time for this, then just let them inherit the results)
