The dealer you're buying the car from should be able to recommend an installer, and might also be able to secure a cheaper rate that way too. Failing that, just look online for EV chargepoint installers - but it's a pretty basic electrical installation, so I expect any decent sparky would be able to do it, meaning you can just buy the unit separately and have a local guy fit it if needed. I wouldn't bother for a hybrid, you won't get it subsidised and the battery is not big enough to even need a dedicated power supply. An external socket or just a wire trailing out somewhere will work fine. |

I've been known to have to put tax on a car. Occasionally. Overall I'm finding Lexus ownership very agreeable, the air conditioned seats have been a boon in the recent heatwave, and because of the car's age and value, I don't have to be even remotely precious about it. If anyone's after a nice cheapy luxo-barge type thing that's also ultra-reliable, I'd definitely recommend one. |

I'm not sure what the correct term is, cooled seats? The front seats can either be heated or cooled (or neither), if you select the cold option then it starts blowing cold air up through the seat once the aircon gets going. Admittedly not something that will be needed often in our climate. The little light goes green for cold arse, or orange for hot arse. Attachment: arse.JPG
