Got the new camshaft sensors delivered, opened the bonnet, took off the engine shroud... And thought what the fuck am I doing, they are tricky to get at, my back was already aching, it was windy and about to start raining. I'm getting too old for this shit, I put the shroud back on and I'll pay a man an hours labour to do it for me. I'm back in the warm on the sofa watching Gogglebox... |

Found the source of my coolant leak, the 4” hose that joins on the top of the engine block. Used a piece of silicon vac hose for now until I get a replacement. |

Well... that was annoying. Dude came to pick up the car... It won't start. Turns over, just doesn't want to fire. Tried jumping it, tried pushing it, tried putting a couple of litres of fuel in it... nothing. I'll call the AA in the next couple of days and see if they know what is wrong with it, otherwise I expect i'll just dump back on ebay as spares or repair... |
