Fellow TDi'erer's say it's pointless adding induction kits over the standard air intake on these. Back to using bosch paper filter too from a green cotton one. Was cheaper than the cleaning kit :D

It’s still on the cards... need to get it all running well first.

I’d have to spend a shitload until a bigger intake was required from what I’ve learned, stage 2 stuff, Bigger/hybrid turbo, fmic, exhaust etc etc. Not worth it, unless you’ve got stuff knocking about ;)

Or if you want the size of an estate car, with less boot space than a Cayman, get a Forester.

For some mysterious reason, Mrs Fop is obsessed with getting a Forester. She has zero interest in cars, but really wants a Forester and is always excited when we see them on the road. I think it's because she thinks they're like the car the mum drives in Ponyo.

EXCITING ROVER UPDATE!

Had I been bombing down the M62 yesterday, there would have been little throttle response for a while. I would drop 2 and floor it and....nothing. in neutral it would bounce of the limiter. There was a bit of an odd noise. After I hypothetically got to Liverpool I might pop the Deeley in and see no error codes. I can only assume handbrake was dragging.
