Sutures is the right word I think, though. Like stitches you have when you’re clumsy or have had a run in with a sharp thing. In the hospital.

Yes, and it may have to stay that way as the spring adjusters are rusted solid. Waiting for a new washer pump and then I'll see if I can scrape it through a mot.

Looks like a Mk2 Driver or similar. I'm going to say 1.6? I had the GTI 16v which was a fantastic car.

It was a 1.8 but I blew it up and after about 4 years of it sitting with no engine I've put a 1.6 in because that's what was available.

Mrs Z's Mum's Neighbour used to have a mint silver 1.8 Driver. He was retired and seemed to be always out cleaning it.

Do you have one really funky sequined space suit, Hearthly, or do you have several ch-ch-ch-changes?
(I’m not entirely sure what we’re doing here, but I wanted to be part of it).

I'm waiting for a KIA Stinger GT.

I reckon they'll be half price in 12-18 months.

365bhp and 0-60 in 4.4 seconds.

I ain't paying £42K for one, £20-£25K seems about right.

You're not going to buy another car for another 12-18 months? Man...

May as well lock this thread then.

Ugh, don’t do it mate. It’s got a pretty face and it’s certainly quick, but it’s a Kia and therefore white goods in motoring terms.
Get the RS. You’ll look back and think how crazy it was, and you were to buy it, but it’ll set the pulse racing like this thing never could. Charisma and pedigree count.

I think it's important to set achievable goals.

No one at work reckons I'll last that long but I will PROVE THEM WRONG.

That's just like drinkers doing Dry January and thus "proving" they don't need to drink though.

If you need to do it to prove people wrong, you have a problem. ;)

You'll have three more cars before you get one of those Kia's.

One of them will be a Merc.

Does it matter? He won't have it for 7 months let alone 7 years.
