Peyton Manning beats Brett Favre's career passing touchdown record. 510 and counting after the Broncos slaughtered the 49ers.

I'd be surprised if he retired when playing so well. He's on fire this season and Denver are stomping on anyone not named Seattle (who are perplexingly getting beaten by most other teams).

The Bengals are falling apart, as is their style.

How quickly do tickets sell out? I'm tempted to go to one, but not if it involves hovering over a refresh button on the day of release.

You don't have to do that, from experience.

When your passer rating is below your number of interceptions, it isn't a good night.

The Raiders are bad. Like, really bad. And they've got one of the toughest schedules for the rest of the season. I almost feel sorry for them. Almost. They are the Raiders, after all.

If they get home field in the playoffs, I can see them going all the way.
I actually think if the Rams draft well next year they could be contenders for the playoffs, they've looked good in patches, a bit more experience for the young guns and they could be really good.
No idea what's happened to my Saints though, although in the worst division in the league there's always a chance to get to the post season with a losing record.

Partly due to the pissedoffedness this causes with cettain fans.

They're playing the Bucs next week. They'll probably lose and the Bucs will take the NFC South by storm.

Impressive result for the Bengals. Some tough matches to win before the season is out though. We'll probably somehow manage to get to the playoffs, where we will lose massively with Dalton throwing a new all time record number of interceptions.

No, I think everyone (apart from Browns fans and his mum) enjoyed that.

Post subject:  Re: Yankee Rules Throwball

To be fair, the Bengals went 'you have a great pass defence that is been giving everone fits all year, but an atrocious run D. Welp, we're going to run that ball down your throat.'

This meant that the Browns only ran 38 offensive plays. The Bengals ran nearly twice that. Tough to get a rookie QB into a rhythm and confident in 18 passes.

Also, from the Browns point of view, the rest of this season is solely about getting Manziel some reps, he's got a better upside than Hoyer.

How did Green Bay throw that one away, against a QB with 4 INTs? The special teams guy who tried to be a hero and jump in front of the catcher in the onside kick needs to be fired.

I'm not a particular fan of the packers, but the way that game went down makes me feel quite sick. I'm glad I'm not a fan, given that.
But yeah, I find it hard to want either superbowl team to win.

To be fair with the whole deflategate thing, the refs handle the ball every single play, surely they would have noticed something if they were so deflated and pumped them up again. It's just a lot of nonsense.

Refs don't exactly throw or catch the ball.

They don't need to cheat, they still do. I think Belichick is incapable of not taking any edge he can get, legal or not. It's worth noting that in the case of spygate, they were caught, told to quit it, caught again and only then did it come out to the public. In this case, the Colts were apparently on the lookout because the balls they intercepted in their regular season match were underinflated.

Got up at 5:20, made myself a mug of tea and turned on the TV just in time for the second half kick off.

Cracking game with the Seahawks dominating the third quarter and then in the fourth the Patriots came right back...before Belichick used his Sith Lord mind powers on Carroll to make him throw on the one yard line.

Then just to round things off there was a big fight...basically everything you could ask for in a game.
