Tebow has requested a trade! Come on JAX, you got this! You're shit now, you'll probably be almost as shit with Tim, but... People will actually turn up to watch your games!

Although to be honest, what have the Jags got to lose?

He should have gone there in the first place.

Yeah. But seeing how reluctant both Denver and New York were to play him, it'd take a pretty dumb GM to hire him. I know the Jags haven't been at all great at choosing people to hire, but still....

Not that I'm annoyed by the general hype behind a FB who "knows how to win" from people who clearly didn't see him perform appallingly for > 3/4 of a game nor understand that it's a team sport, or the failure to understand that a long term successful QB needs more on his skill sheet than "Wobbly inaccurate pass" and "Fail checkdown. Let's RUN!". On that basis, I'm rather sad he didn't get to start for the Jets in that I'd have found it both amusing seeing him fail badly and just plain stopping the media bullshit that follows him around. (And perhaps diffusing the scariest thing about this, in that he's apparently considering a career in Politics afterwards. President Tebow is the kind of thing nightmares are made of)

On the plus side, I can at least boo him at London if does he go to the Jags, assuming I go in 2013. 2012 was a bit of a let down, and not just because my facoured team got rather severely thrased.

If he can't start ahead of Mark Sanchez...

Christ.

Sanchez has to be the worst player in NFL history on a dollars to results basis.

JaMarcus Russell. $5.6 million per win. $2 million per touchdown. $100,000 dollars per completed pass.

I was thinking Russell. But didn't know the exact figures.

I do remember him being _comically_ bad. And fat.

Christ, that is bad.

Sanchez is still one of the worst players going, though.

I feel a bit sorry for The Sanchize, he got good results with a killer running game and killer D. Then those things disappear and he has to carry the team. He can't do it (very few QBs can) When it all goes tits up, he gets the blame?

Bet they'reglsd they upgraded from a Tebow to a Manning.

Although I do feel really sorry for the Jets, which is something I thought couldn'thappen. But no doubt I will be amused by whichever team Tebow goes to stink up next year.

Just read on ESPN that RG III is to have knee reconstruction surgery after he was kept in the game on Sunday, there's a lad who's not going to have a long career unless he (or more importantly his coaches) change the way he plays. Such a shame as he was excellent this year.

Hands up who expected Flacco and Kapaernick (sp) to outplay Manning and Rodgers?

I actually had SF in my accumulator, but was very surprised Denver lost at home.

That must have been awesome when they won, especially given that the Broncos were the favourites to win the Superbowl, let alone the match!

yeahit was great, the entire city seemed to be decked out in purple for the game, when they won everyone was just running around hugging everyone and high fiving! The final equalising touchdown sent the place wild. (There may have a been a litle bit of a riot afterwards, ther was loads of police outside whe we left and a street was blocked off)

CURSE YOU, BALTIMORE!

Epic game between Atlanta/Seattle though. Wilson was awesome second half, but the missed chances in the first half, and the retarded 'prevent' defence that NEVER FREAKING WORKS bit them in the ass.

What were the odds that two Beexers would be in the two home towns in bars on the night of a divisional playoff match? Madness!

Also, why do you know who Peyton Manning is?

Coz I is awesome :p

That, or, I was just clever enough to google the team when I found out they would be playing.

Love that we had Beex representation in both home towns! Perhaps we should try and achieve that for every game :)

Well, that was exciting. Big no call on that last SF play, offsides and defensive pass interference?

At least Ray 'Not a murderer or steroid abuser' Lewis should retire his pile-jumping, stat-padding arse once and for all.

Poor Cleveland fans.

Yep, it was a little "I think I threw up a little" seeing him preening himself after the final whistle.

So I got up at 5 o'clock in the morning to watch the second half and the bloody lights go off. Biggest sporting event in the US and they can't even put a shilling in the meter...still it meant more snooze time.

Amazed the Flacco got the MVP.. he spent the entire game overthrowing recievers. Luckily their Cirque du Soliel impressions kept bailing him out.

Kaepernick was brilliant, though. His tenth start. He'll be back.
