Be Excellent To Each Other

There's a hell of a lot wrong with the state of US politics, and the nonsense this week that culminated in the State of Hawaii issuing and official copy of Obama's birth certificate is a great example of that.

This video, however - Obama's response to the whole thing at the annual White House correspondents dinner - is frankly brilliant.

Yeah, thought it was pretty good.

Christ, that's awesome.

Most importantly, the President of the United States just walked on stage to Hulk Hogan's entrance music.

That's actually brilliant.

Brilliant. I really can't imagine Dubya giving a speech like that.

If the basis of the whole speech was good, the birth video was incredible. Including the "if you don't believe me, ask Disney for the long form"

Still it's all very well and good giving awesome speeches but if he's see to not be getting things done there's the real problem. I thought the speech was amazing though.
