We mocked his total inability to flat spin for at least 20 minutes last night, and it still didn't shut him the fuck up.

I feel proud to have been there the one time DavPaz has played with bezzies.

And just as proud that it has scarred him so badly he won't do it again.

The pharmacy in Norton Canes, my childhood home, has Yerp's first drive through pharmacy. It's great.

I remember that opening. They also ran my local pharmacy and were encouraging people to drive 10 miles there for the novelty factor alone.

The local papers were proclaiming that people as far away as Oxford had been travelling to go there. 8) Smelly male cow poo, if you ask me.

In Burnout Paradise you can have a drive through paint job and repairs!

There is never a queue, or sick Brummies.

Based on the use a drive-thru pharmacy, Fanny Stupid may limit Doc G's playing games until he has done the dishes... 4,000 miles away.. when he visits me in 21(ish) days.

Why have we never played "Takedown Tig*"?

That would be great! You have to play in the quarry or the airfield or something, and someone is it, and when they take someone down, they are it instead?

*Or 'it' or 'catch' or whatever you wrongun's call it

I was hosting an open game yesterday for a couple of hours to get the 10 Island Challenges done, because it appears you have to to unlock the last island car.

Finally managed it after several times having to kick players who seemed to just want to sabotage the challenges or were just completely clueless. It didn't unlock the car. ?:| So I googled, and it appears you must complete ALL 500 challenges to get the car. I only have about 150 done.

So basically, if you see me online playing BurnyPee I am probably hosting a game to get the challenges done and you are more than welcome to join it. We don't have to do challenges btw, if you suggest races or any specific challenges I will be eager to comply.

To get the last island car you only need to complete the island stuff. The other challenges give you a completely different car.

I have completed all Island stuff and still only have 8/9 cars. And pages like this: http://burnout.wikia.com/wiki/Big_Surf_Island_(update) state that to get the last one (Jansen P12 Diamond) you need to do all 500 challenges.

Ahh, I didnae realise that was an Island car. It's hideous btw, you're as well doing the challenges with your pals/us than trying to herd mongs, you'll get more fun out the challenges than you will the car :DD

Fuck's sake. Hot Pursuit was fun, but I was hoping it'd be a one-off.

They better be working on a Paradise 2 for next-gen or something.

I suspect a lot of devs are already working on their next-gen stuff with the real AAA titles.

TBH I find it hard to see where Criterion could really push the 360/PS3 harder with another open world car game, without being accused of releasing a 'DLC pack at full price'.

They wouldn't need to push it a lot harder, frankly. I'd buy exactly the same game set in a new city.

360/PS3 both ran Burny Pee at 720p/60FPS, which is partly why they were so majestically brilliant.

I suspect Criterion want to dial it up a notch for BP2, hence maintain 60FPS, probably at 1080p, and make a richer more detailed world at the same time.

The NFS games are just filler for them IMO.

I never got into Burnout Paradise myself, but I understood from my readings here that there was a huge amount to love about it.

Reading BTL in Christian Donlan's effusive review, I hadn't realised there was so much ire towards the game.

People seem to oddly think that the game is about racing rather than completing the multiplayer challenges.

It was both. Only someone who is very bad at racing would say that.
