Been chipping away on the solo game (where are all the 11pm crew?) managed to get lots more cars and only 8 events away from my 'A' licence. Sorry I couldn't make it for some mypy bashing, it's been a busy weekend, I should be around more this week at my usual time.

I will inevitably be better at this than I am at Forza, if only because in this game you're supposed to ram other people into walls.

I sat around the last few nights watching the Live website to see if you'd pop up Z. But ya day.

I got this game yesterday so I may be around later. I'm trying to win some cars and stuff but still seem to be stuck at the rather frustrating "yay I'm winning, oh fuck I've gone the wrong way" stage.

You get a FANTASTIC car for getting all the billboards. The Carbon Hawker was my chosen race car for long time.

You begin to get a 'Chameleon Eye' technique after a while, and the city does seem to shrink fairly quickly.

I seem to be crap at learning my way around these open world games though. Some people seem to get a map in their heads but it just never comes for me. They should all be set in Fleetwood.

We should do a 'Billboard-get-me-do' session at some point.

I'm getting to the stage where I can't get some of them due to the speed of my cars.

I'm still torn as to what was the highlight of last night. It could either be Dimrill's strange faces as I took him down, nailing the double barrel roll on to the train tracks, or just relentlessly ramming Myoptikakaka as he tried (and failed) to do the parking challenge.

Good times. I think tonight will be split between CoD4 and Burnout.

I tried my best but was kicked out so many times I played some single player.

Managed to bag my A licence and another couple of cars too.

Still pissed off with the Live service last night, hope they've sorted it out now.

I thought it was just me. Every time I connected to Live last night it took ages and then would just drop the connection.

I didn't bother with Live yesterday, because of all the great big messages over the past three weeks saying 'UPDATING IS HAPPENING ON THE 21ST! LIVE WILL BE TEH FUXXORED LOL!'.

Also, I was asleep.

I'm not sure how much I'll use the thing. It was nice to see Dimrill's beard for instance but it completely ruined my mental image of Grim... who I expected to appear as a tiny bellowing speck surrounded by suits of armour and oil paintings as he sat 100 feet from his cinema-sized screen at the far end of the Great Hall.

If it's any help, I actually have a special chair that I move in front of the TV for Burnout fun because where I normally sit is too far away to see me clearly.

I'm afraid I didn't see that, they're only quite low resolution these cameras.

For those wondering what kind of chair this is, know that it's called "The Entity", and it's very hard to fall off it.

I've taken to moving my camera off the top of my telly and placing it to the side of me, turning and gurning when needed.

I'd do that, but the TV is too far away from my sofa, and the cable is all wrapped up with the other cables behind my AV cabinet anyway.
