Why is the slipper made out of wood and has a hose Malc!?! MALC!?>!? Someone save childhood Malc in 1978 or 1979 he can't remember!

I used to think the kid was trying to soak me, but now I think it's a toy phone. I think the "slipper" had a hole in it and if you spoke into it, the person on the other end would hear you.

This was 29 years ago after all.

My current one is from Parodius. The one I normally use on every forum ever is from the cover of Bal-Sagoth's The Power Cosmic:

Klatrymadon is a character from the Sagoth's lyrical universe. I use this handle everywhere because nobody else ever does. Yay!

My avatar is from Amiga Power Issue 50 (ask Romanista). The issue featured a page where long-term contributors could send in a picture of themselves and a few encouraging words. Hilariously whoever wrote this feature decided to use my picture as an example of one of the worst things about the 'Matt Bilby Golden Era', namely pictures of programmers.

How I laughed.
