Oh that's a shame...I saw her supporting Jools Holland in the mid 2000's and she was brilliant, telling stories and singing blues n soul with her incredibly breathy broken voice.

Soft Machine founding member and keyboard player Mike Ratledge has died, aged 81, after a short illness...


Soft Machine were the first rock band to play on the BBC Proms.

I remember it very well.

Didn't particularly like it, but that's not the point.
