Mimi! A tip on Gardeners world or something yonks ago was to dig your nails into a soap bar BEFORE gardening so there’s no room for soil etc to get in there. Then wash away the soap afterwards. |

I try to remember to put gloves on nowadays (I don’t always remember, though). I was bitten by a spider last year, and guess what? I’m really, really allergic to spider bites. Who knew. I had a burning swollen rash that kept getting bigger and bigger, so I had to take antibiotics for three weeks. So, yeah. Gloves. |
