Such a label precludes all understanding of what Emo is. I don't see any particular self-help stuff here either, no more so than there was 'before' in any case. Actually there's less, as I can't see any 'Help me get free consoles' threads.

Oh, you mean because of what he said about everyone being bestest mates, and the World of Cuddles thing? i don't think that's for real. I think it is, at most, a case of sour grapes.

I can't imagine anyone would find anything wrong in a bunch of people getting along and connecting in other ways and places outside of a forum. I think, to be honest, that he may just feel a little left out, or is maybe like some loners I have known who declares that they do not make strong bonds, but I don't think that he takes the piss about the who 'cuddly fluffy friends' thing because he dislikes the idea, but rather that it happened between a group of people that he 'knew', and he ruled himself out of it. I think because he was the centre of his universe on the forums, he didn't think that the same group of people could survive without him, that he were the only 'glue' ( ;) ), and I think that's why he says such things and also why, even though he says he does not care about this forum, and he wishes people well, as soon as there is a hint of upset he created a thread that basically went 'HA, I TOLD you that they couldn't get along, that their ways, their split, as it were, would not work, mwah ha ha ha, i was right all along and they have failed (ok, ever so slightly paraphrasing...).

But, no, I don't believe that anyone hates to see people get along. I don't ever think he'd join such a thing as facebook and the group that was made there, but I don't think he'd dislike the idea of other people doing so. I just don't think the fact that people seem to have grown closer after having left WoS :(

Not being 'funny' - I reckon this deserves a thread of it's own, Mr. GazChap. We're already two pages past talking about it, and I'll bet there will be others'd who'd wanna join, but who don't login until after work / at night. It's your group - do the honours please?

Join today! Be the envy of the rest of your Facebook so-called-friends. That URL again, for those who missed it or are blind, http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=22311547131

How scary, I don't know most of the people in the group, by face or name. :S

No, he actually said the exact words in Zardoz's post.

I offer no further editorial lest I be incorrectly accused of some kind of malice or posting in places I've never heard of again.

Aaaaaaaand back on topic folks! :)

Maybe when we add friends we should say in our message who we are? I've only added people so far that I can associate with usernames.

There are some posts (on the group, not here) explaining who some people are. I think there are still a few mystery ones though.

As an aside, do not go and see "The Orchestra" who are a kind of ELO tribute featuring ex-ELO members. It's like going to see The Beatles, but with only Ringo performing. That's not to say they were bad, just somewhat lacking. And when going to see what is effectivly a tribute band, the words "these are some of our new songs" are not words you wish to hear.

Mick Kaminski was fucking aces though (the original band member who plays that blue violin). He ran around the stage like a nutcase and indeed did capture his old form.

For those unsure who matches up with forum usernames, there's a semi list on there somewhere... I'm the dashing fellow whose profile picture has him sat on the deck of a yacht in the Caribbean.

I was going to join but then realised I'm a bad luck charm for most facebook groups AND the fact this is only about my fourth post AND I can't be doing with the should I add random people/shouldn't I add random people dilemma AND that I already have 50 people who don't talk to me on there so extras would just be wasted

Other than that I was all up for joining 8)

Got Oblivion yesterday so cheers for that too. :)

MaliA stands outside, with nose pressed to glass as rain falls down against the window, some slowly tricking down his face.

"NO DSS!" barks Mr Chris, slamming the blinds closed.

MaliA retires to the wheelie bin down the alley for the night and dreams what might have been, as the sound of Rock Band passes through the night.

I love Facebook and looking at random people's profiles.

Oh, and it's a pint glass, not a wine glass. It may have been full of wine though.

A pint glass is still a pint glass, no matter what's in it. You don't call it a 'beer glass' when you've got beer in it (unless you're weird).
