Here's a list of the people that still owe me money. Don't make me send CUS to your house to collect it.

Similarly, there's a few people that I still need the pizza money from -- although if you're on this list and you did give me the money, let me know. I think there's one person that I accepted cash from on the Sunday morning that I forgot to note down on my list, so apologies if you're here:

He has paid! I've instructed CUS to stand down and head to the next name on the list.

Monies have been sent to people.

Great cottage. I miss it already.

Only thing I have to add to the other memories was Joans playing Perudo and hitting consecutive Yahtzees! Insanely unlikely (1.68 million to one).

Hi Gazchap, thanks for the reminder! Will fling you the brass tomorrow, and the Yes Chefs brass also.

Anyway, had a splendid cottage time once again. Didn't get as much board game action in as usual as to my surprise found myself watching rugby a fair bit - and had my life devoured once again by Advance Wars on the Switch on the Sunday.

Highlights -

It was nice doing archery again, even if I was beyond rusty!

Having a very entertaining quiz and coming second.

Being something other than a townie in Mafira. I'm sort of relieved that I was brutally stabbed to death by a serial killer as any attempt to press me during the lynch mob phase and I would have sweated like Nixon.

Heat - blimmin' brilliant board game where I got confused and gave myself the worst possible start imaginable (as if Lewis Hamilton developed a bold new strategy to take the opening grid start straight entirely in second gear) and somehow managed to claw my way back up to second at one point. The important thing is I beat Mali.

Myld Stallions being vastly entertaining and hoodwinking me as to Hotel California.

The surprise that was the secret western paradise that is Cowboy Town!

Anyway, superb weekend once again and it was lovely catching up with you all. Though Jem has indeed given me a cold! *Sniffle* xxx

Wild accusations! It was Sally that brought the cold to cottage (I know, because I now have it too)

We have not long passed the point where Beex has existed for 1/3 of my life.
Not sure if that makes me old or this place old. Or both.

Just signed up for a local beginners archery course, cheers Trooper!

Doesn't start until February, which is a bit annoying, but something to look forward to for the new year.

Whoop!

Yeah, bad time of year to start right now, as most of the courses will be outside. Plenty of time to start browsing for cool bows. Merlin archery is the best place to shop online.

also also

This is a great read for a beginner when you do think about buying your first bow.
