I have no idea of the coding behind it, or if it would work.

Or if someone has the time or inclination to do it.

If someone can and wants do, it's all good otherwise I'm happy to just do it manually.

It's not a massive problem.

Afterthought - I'd need access to it's internal gubbins somehow to set a list of valid games for that week. Seems like a bit of hassle for someone to set up.

I had all intention of turning up last night, but really 10pm is just a bit on the late side for me to think about starting playing on a Monday as it sets me up badly for the week sleep-wise. Plus I have an invalid to look after/entertain at the moment.

Perhaps next week I won't vote at all and just go with the majority. Perhaps even voting is a flawed idea, and Sheeps should just sound out a few ideas with the regulars and make a decision on what we're to play. Democracy sucks, sometimes.

Sorry mang, I was one of those feckless individuals. I even unwrapped my copy of the game I bought cheaply about three months ago and had a go yesterday lunchtime (boy, is it bloody fast - it feels for all the world you're strapped into a homemade go-cart going down the side of mountain) and then proceeded to drink about three bottles of wine last night and completely forget to turn up - not that I would have been any good *hic*

Sorry y'all. I had every intention of playing (I even had a little practice run at the weekend) but real life (ie having to be up 90 minutes earlier than usual tonight) put paid to any late-night gaming last night. If I vote next week I'll make sure I'm there.

Sorry, but the TV was being used for the finale of Britain's Next Top Model at nine.

And I forgot, too, or probably would have posted in this thread to say I wouldn't be on.

I don't have the game, and as such didn't vote for it. Nor did I play Burnout.

I played Top Spin 2, which is quite fun and worth a tenner. Definitely a candidate for a future Obscure Night.

At least the three people who turned up were all still playing SEGA Rally when I went to bed at midnight though.

:)

And seriously, what is your problem? You spend ages whinging about how everyone is going to play Burnout rather than Sega Rally, and then when invited, you turn it down.

No I didn't. I politely raised a reminder that last night was intended as Obscure Night, having missed where it was said that Burnout was next week, and then joked about it a bit afterwards in what I had hoped was a bezzie fashion. Unfortunately in this brave new world, that was sadly misinterpreted as per bloody usual.

Yes, sorry I didn't play owt, I wasn't in the mood for playing anything at all at the time due to a phone call I had just had. I would have been silent, moody and probably gone early. Also haven't played SR yet so would have been shite anyway, which 'doesn't help'.

That I've spent the last couple of weeks thinking 'My, it would be nice to invited to a game of anything', only to then finally receive a precious bezzie invite when I'm really not feeling it, is an irony that isn't lost on me.
