Coke and red wine is a good drink

That sounds awful.

Popular in the Basque region, and it's not bad actually. They call it calimotcho (probably spelled differently)

Yeah, trust MaliA. He'll take you adventures.

It’s a good hangover cure. And it’s actually not bad as a drink

I didn’t even know what WoS was until DoccyG suggested joining here.

It was like Board of Biffo but with a worse leader.

I don’t even know what that is. I think this was the first website based forum I joined. I came from the twitching corpse of usenet

I think there are only half a dozen regular posters on UK games.video.misc these days, and the only post seems to be the weekly play want bin. It's a shame, but times move on!

I vaguely remember the first exodus being attributable to DeadJournal. Lots of people disappeared from the groups I was in about then. Then the servers were shut down, weren’t they? I know groups still exist, but it became a faff having to use apps to read them. Hey ho!

You don't mean this (https://archive.org/details/Amiga_Power ... 7/mode/2up) do you?

Yup, that were what it was.

Somewhere there are some pictures of metalangel making one at the first cottage and having it with some vimto.

I recall it was not the taste sensation that he would have wanted.

I hope there were lots of replies like "well, no, not really. I suppose I'm a bit upset on your behalf, but it's a stretch"

I always thought it was Stu's right to charge, and it was my right to fuck off elsewhere. So that's what I did.

I think that it was against the terms and conditions of having a phpbb board to charge for access to one but I might be misremembering.

Christ all of that stuff feels like a long time ago. The internet seems like a boring swamp of short-vids and list-icles by comparison these days.

It's a far cry from asking on newsgroups for someone to review your new site you wrote.
