Which is the game we played last year with the trains and cowboys? The one where you all play cards and the turns are played out in the order of the cards?

Not the greatest of explanations but I did like that if anyone is bringing that along.

Colt Express - it's brilliant. I think Mali is packing it.

I like to use fewer carriages just to add to the chaos.

I've got blue roll, hand wash and maple syrup for pancakes. Need to get coffee.

Am I forgetting anything?

Oh, and I paid cottage man this morning so this is definitely happening.

Booked m'train tickets. Phew, that was close. Industrial action for Cross Country on the Thursday and the Saturday and disruption the Sunday, yet they failed to sink my battleship. I'll be bringing my Switch along. Anyone bringing an OLED Switch? I'm happy with my Animal Crossing edition but am mighty curious as to how OLED looks.

I assumed we'd still all be doing them anyway.

I certainly will be, we have quite the outbreak at work again and I'm at a conference tomorrow.

Great! I love there being two cottages. It's like some Beex-Complex. I should hit Derby around noon.

Multiplayer Switch games wot I'll have for those interested:

Mario Kart 8 (Natch)
Super Smash Brothers Ultimate (Which I'm completely a rookie at)
Fast RMX
Quake
Tetris Connected

Co-Op:

Streets of Rage IV
Scott Pilgrim
Luigi's Mansion
Super! Mario! 3D! World!

I'll get a Covid test too. No symptoms but thanks for the reminder, guys!

It's worth thinking about the bedroom situation.

I count 29 (I am sure it was 30 yesterday) people on the coming list.

there are 15 bedrooms in total.

Main Cottage:

Ground Floor:
Bedroom 1: With twin beds and en-suite with shower cubicle and toilet.
First floor:
Bedroom 2: With twin beds.
Bedroom 3: With twin beds.
Bedroom 4: With twin beds.
Bedroom 5: With twin beds.
Bedroom 6: With twin beds.
Bedroom 7: With double bed, single bed and en-suite with shower cubicle and toilet.
Bedroom 8: With double bed, single bed and en-suite with a shower cubicle and toilet.
Bedroom 9: With double bed and en-suite with shower cubicle and toilet.

Second Cottage:
Ground Floor:
Bedroom 1: With double bed and en-suite with shower cubicle and toilet.
Bedroom 2: With double bed and single bed.
Bedroom 3: With double bed and single bed.
Bedroom 4: With twin beds.
First floor.
Bedroom 5: With double bed and en-suite with shower cubicle and toilet.
Bedroom 6: With twin beds and en-suite with shower cubicle and toilet.

8 rooms with twin beds
3 rooms with a double bed
4 rooms with a double bed and a single bed.

I think I worked out there were 6 couples (assuming each +1 is a partner and I've not missed a relationship) and there's Rach who probably doesn't want to share with any of the guys.

Leaving 10 rooms and 16 people, so actually maybe it's not as bad as I thought, still perhaps worth thinking about people who want to sleep with the window open or the radiator on! Or people wanting earlier/later nights etc

Hey Pete, I get in just before noon to the train station, My plan at the moment is to grab some food at the Derbion, and then JBR is going to pick me up around 12:30ish, he's mentioned that there would be space for you too, if you wanted?

Hi Malc!

I'll be getting in at 12:30 so that's quite handy! Many thanks! If I find you in the Derbin then or just outside?

We're going to meet at the train station, just for ease of car waiting.

Fuck yes. I was considering tinkering with the old Pi, but yours is probably better
