Thank you all, yes another year of my 30s, so better make it count!

We've been to B&Q for a treat.

That burger van that's inexplicably always parked at the B&Q is indeed a treat.

Assuming that it isn't just the Shrewsbury and Telford ones that have this "feature", that is.

Thank you everyone. We did indeed have the b&q burger van wafting it's meaty goodness smell around.
We looked at bathroom stuff and bought new garden accessories.

A pregnant Mrs Fop was being hauled around B&Q by her dad, and she was so hungry she had to prevail upon the burger van.

It was best described as liquid meat in a bap.

It just took me longer than it should to process the fact that a railcard expiring in August 2022 is still valid. Just can't quite bring myself to accept that we are in space year 2022.

I am nearly 47 years old, the song is over 50 years old, but it's only today that I realised that Brown Sugar, the song, is about Heroin and not about a black girl friend.

I'm nearly 68 years old, and for years I thought that Alison Moyet's "Love Resurrection" was a thinly veiled song about nothing but needing a lot of sex, but according to Wikipedia, Moyet said "Love Resurrection" was "written over the phone": "I'd had an argument with a friend and gone to bed like I usually do when I'm depressed. I wrote the lyric straight off and read it over to Steve [Jolley]. He called me back with a melody line and we went on from there."

I think she's bullshitting and it's just about sex.

Yes they did not have bright options :) I might have to get some bright soft furnishings

It is huge, but then again I am not small. I wanted a square corner so I can lie down reading.

A few cushions and blankets can easily bring some of your character to it. What colour is the carpet you’ve bought?

The fitting is free, I think they had an offer on. The carpets will be fitted the day before the sofa will be delivered, unfortunately that is July.

They are sending some one out to measure up on Wednesday.

Niggling voice in the back of your head: Even though you have not tested positive for covid, someone in your house has, it would be irresponsible to go on the moors (despite it being out in the open) as what if you got worse when you were in the middle of no where, you could risk your life, and then search and rescue would have to waste their time, and perhaps risk getting covid themselves, so it's probably best you didn't go out you selfish prick

I got recliners, and they did come with USB ports.

Quite handy for phone and control pad charging.

I looked at those, but there is a socket behind the tv, I just put a long USB lead in there.

I am not fussed about a recliner, as I prefer a foot stool. :)

:)

To mentally prepare myself for turning 40, yesterday I entered a room in a museum filled with over 500 skulls.

Were I the curator, I would have put at least one on a slow moving hidden turntable activated by visitors' footsteps.
