Hi,

my son needs a new laptop for school, and we're making it a gaming laptop since he is introducing his savings.. so we're aiming at 700-800 euros... (600-700 pounds these days?)

Thinking abou

Any ideas?

I obviously can't read most of the site, but I could get enough out of the specs. While the 799 laptop has a slightly better processor, it only has half the storage space at 256GB compared to 512. If you wanted to install the latest COD you're not installing much else.

The graphics cards are arguably about the same, as is the RAM, so I can't really see where the extra €100 is going.

The NVIDIA comes out on top for some tests, but often the results are fairly similar.

Lots of numbers here: https://www.notebookcheck.net/Radeon-RX ... 598.0.html
