Too right, Larry Bird was notorious for it, yet never got pulled up.

Aye, got given a letter to carry with me on my walk to work and back as I'm labelled an 'essential worker' in case this happens. Naturally, now I have it I won't have the excitement of being stopped to show it.

All the same I think they're winding up my post tomorrow as I'm not to go to County Hall on Monday. I'll either be re-assigned eventually to some admin thing in City Hall in support of the effort, told to stay at home and work on the great American novel or something as I have no home-working capacity, or given the option to volunteer for something.

What happened at 8pm?

We’re doing a live virtual pub quiz on YouTube in ten mins.

I was still walking my dog around the block and was surprised the street had come out to applause me on the home stretch.

Most people in Manchester did, but there are reports of disgraceful behaviour in China Town where they were crapping in the streets.

I went out for a ride yesterday afternoon about 23km in total, so not far, but I haven't had any chance to do any riding for some time and need to exercise.
The park just outside the town centre in Cardiff where I walk my dogs most mornings was pretty busy. There were people sunbathing, people throwing and kicking rugby balls around, which I thought was particularly dumb, and some people were even having picnics. No large groups of people, but a lot more people out and about than there are in the mornings when I'm walking the dog, generally around 8am.
Not sure if there's an increased police presence or if I'm noticing them more as there's next to no traffic on the roads.

I’m not entirely convinced he has it. Horribly cynical I know, but he has form for lying through his teeth and this is the perfect excuse for him to hide from direct scrutiny about his and his governments appalling handling of this situation, just as it’s about to go properly pear shaped

We're doing virtual pub this afternoon at work, including some games, which might be fun, or terrible.

I've been asked to run another mafia game over slack, last time I did a standard game, this time though...

Sounds great. Obviously finding a time is always the awkward bit, but no reason not to make it a regularish thing.

What's the app of choice now? Hangouts? Zoom? Houseparty? Club Penguin?

I'm not having to take 10 days compulsory unpaid leave now over the next 3 months.

I'm going to be furloughed from 1st April for a minimum of 3 weeks on 80% pay.

Again, could be worse. Scary times though.

We had a virtual beer with about a dozen of us from work tonight, and played a couple of games of jackbox streamed over zoom, and it actually worked really well.
Murder mystery trivia game, which I obviously won both games, because im a genius.

Fucking love Jackbox. Murder mystery is good, but I think I prefer "straight" YDKJ.

If you're all in the same room, Drawful is my Jackbox game of choice.

Ooh, I think I have that and have never played it.

What would be the best game suited to play with a group over zoom, hangouts etc?

Also, why does everyone have a hard on for zoom all of a sudden? I used Hangouts the other day and it's brilliant, with zero barriers to entry. Don't know why more people aren't using that.

Also, how did Skype screw things up so much. This surely should have been their time to shine.

The 5-0 were driving their land rover over the phone Bach this afternoon, and then checking out the dogging car park. Also, the Community Patrol were driving down the path.

All very exciting.

Mostly just a headache and a slight sore throat now. Feel like I'll be recovered in a couple of days.

Still gonna totally self isolate for a while, because you're still contagious after the symptoms have gone.

Glad your starting to feel better now.

At the moment I'd say that we have better odds of Joe Wicks putting us in hospital than a virus. :s
