Possibly @NervousPete

I had a brilliant time at the cottage so thank you everyone for being so bloomin' great.

Thanks to Jem for sorting it. Grim..., Wookie and Rach for feeding us on Saturday night and a huge thank you to Curio for once again running the most excellent quiz night!

I really enjoyed the Jaws game, the train game with Kern and the dungeon type game with Mali. I'm not normally a fan of board games but I'd happily play those again.

Also... the footage I've got is shit so is there any chance we can all go back next weekend to reshoot it?

Thank you all for such a lovely weekend, it was great to meet so many new people and have so many laughs.

I would like to list out all the things that made the weekend so good, but I think it was just winning the (amazing) quiz that was the biggest point (closely followed by that blue cheese sauce...)

I'll definitely be doing my best to be there for future cottages.

We ended up coming straight home after the tyre didn't want to inflate.

Brilliant weekend, thank you so much. It was lovely to meet the new people, the yes chefs did an awesome job as ever.

The quiz was hilarious, particularly the buzzer round. :D

Really enjoyed a few games that I can no longer remember the name of, a dungeon and the haunted mansion. Codenames was hilarious too (would my team have got wipe/4?) And I really liked the code one of Gaz chaps.

Hugs from Kovacs that we've been talking about for months and Dave talking me through his Zelda game. So much more that I can't think of it all right now.

Jem, will sort money out when Joan's gets back from doing car things (I don't know if he's sorted something with Gaz).

Grim... Let us know if/what we owe you for disaster kebab.

Also - sexy Kern and Lead Boot Pete! :D

Absolutely shattered now.

What a lovely weekend.

Was so nice to see every one and what a laugh.

Highlights was winning the Flamme Rouge twice. I hope I can retain the yellow Jersey next year.

Wiping 'Cock on the curtains' :)

I am also glad that subway is the most franchised take way, when one ran out of meat balls :)

The quiz was awesome, and Bobby was the worst mafia ever :)

Played some great board games that I've not played before (and a few that I had). Particularly enjoyed adult codewords, boss monster and Cracket destroying us all in Betrayal at House on the Hill.
Special mention for Flamme Rouge, and I'm glad I now know the difference between the sprinter and the roulade. Also, I thought Bobby was going to get us killed by our other cottage neighbours while we were playing.

Many thanks to the Yes Chef and guest chefs for the mac and cheese. The blue cheese sauce was very (very) cheesy, but the chilli one was really nice.

Also thanks to Jem for the pancake making on Saturday morning (and pizza ordering, we've paid you now).

Curio! The quiz was, as always, spectacular. I don't remember who I was speaking to on Saturday, but I recommended they brushed up on the top beex posters and most popular films on imdb. Hopefully, they ignored me. The buzzer round was delightfully chaotic.

Bobby + mafiascum always equals hilarity. This time he gave himself away as mafia before we'd even started (which sucked as I was on his team). Fun to be the detective as well, although frankly sometimes town, you all deserve to die.

Don't get got was brilliant, and something we should definitely run again next year. Looking back there were so many missed opportunities to get some of mine and I only realised my time was up when Kern was gathering them all up on the Sunday morning.

Random things that will make me smile (and hopefully other people too):
Scary Spice!
Singham
Fraggle Rock
Ketchup, I knew I'd forget one

I'm sure I've missed loads of stuff, but I love you all and I had an amazing time. Hopefully no pandemics (or anything else) fuck it up for next year.

Thanks for a great weekend all, it was, as always, great fun!

Nice to meet all the new folks, nice to just drop back into fun and frolics with the oldies!

Quiz was awesome, Singham was awesome. Well done to Jem for organising both the cottage and the pizza. I loved the food just turning up, except, that is the kebab! :D

Somehow I've ended up agreeing to talk about cottaging on local radio on Tuesday, as part of a "board games aren't just for kids" interview thingie.

Should I plug BeEx? And should I try and get "Nightcunt" on to the airwaves? :P

You should talk about the Ticket To Ride World Championships and the, to be blunt Absolute Shithousery that went on in that game before the cream rose to the top and won a superbly moral victory by three points.

Probably a combination of how I was holding my camera, and how the software reads the file. Oh well. Time for some manual adjustments and re-uploading...
