Yeah I'm pretty sure on this one you share an island - it does mean if she chops down trees or changes things then it affects you both - so the answer is 'play nice' :-)

Does anyone know if White picket fence is a recipe option from Nook Miles on the ABD? I’ve been looking out for one for about ten days and it’s cycling through a few options, but white picket fence is never one of them, and I just wanted to make sure I’m not holding out for a fence type that’s not in the game.

I just flew to a remote island, stripped it of resources, destroyed its trees, caught some of its fauna, and flew home. Is this morally troubling? Yes. Do I feel guilty? No.

By stripping an island bare?

I had some success last night, but they still spawn quite rarely even in those circumstances - tiger beetles and water bugs seem to be the most common spawners.

I only caught 4 in about 20 minutes of running around.

I left two coconut trees to start with, so at least filled my pockets with moths, which spawned every five seconds or so.

Weirdly I couldn’t add photos to the last post. Anyway, not as rich as if they’d been tarantulas, but very quick to catch at least. Just ran between the two trees to catch them.

Yeah I did that the other night to accrue 3 for Flick. On Infinite Trenchcoat Island it's a struggle to get four holes dug to shelter inbetween they spawn so quickly. :S

This might be "whale in the Thames", but we discovered that you can hold A with your net out and approach them slowly - they rear up, but provided you stay still they drop down again so you can slowly approach them and grab them with a good success rate :)

I applauded the new update til I realised the resale value of the eggy DIY stuff and now I'm kicking myself, hah. Crafted bunny day items are worth twice the original egg value. I've also had success gifting bunny day items to residents and getting a big wodge of cash in return.

1) what's the precondition for bunnys rewards sunda y(make all recipes he said)
2) will the resale vaue stay uo after bunny day.
3) can i already start selling stuff i made.. (I just put everything in one room last week to get an s rating for the HHA)

@mim @dimrill so you can make nook miles islands spawn insects by stripping them completely? but that fills toy pockets faster than you clean up can you?
@mimi i only got a picknick set as sakura recipe.. hope ikk get those lanters too,sweet...

KK is coming now too.. What's the condition to trigger the nook shop upgrade? 8 villagers?

Label was visiting today which was nice, had kicks some days ago, so hopefully he will open up shop soon.

I replicated this last night on a bamboo island. Didn't manage to clear it completely because my axe broke and I didn't have enough wood to re-craft, but it was about 80% clear. It was alternating between spawning Atlas moths, tiger beetles and tarantulas.

You can dump stuff on the beach and it doesn't affect the spawn rate

Don't think so as I have more than this and still the original shop building

I am the sister and I am shy.. My shop sells Lilies all day every day, I wish it was random like the previous versions.

Also the nooks cranny update comes only after playing for a certain amount of time, I have seen some people say its after 28 days so on the 29th it will be in a tent, 30th day it will be bigger.

My friend code is SW-6279-0572-4995 :) Town is called Eden Falls

Post subject:  Re: Animal Crossing Switch

After a break of two days (curse you, Bannerlord!) I am back in and loving it still. Went to my first island on Nook miles, which yielded up coconuts and hyacinths and introduced me to an adorable frog who I immediately invited. I opened up the shop which I placed way too close to the tent as I assumed the tent would disappear and so the top of the plaza would feature Nook's Cranny and the Museum sitting triumphantly together as a community centrepiece. Instead the tent stayed obscuring the view and forming a really cramped alley between the two. Utterly brilliantly Tom Nook saw fit to comment on this with words to the effect of, "Uh, it's a bit cramped but OH WELL." Glorious.

My bedroom now has an awesome traditional Japanese theme, which looks peachy.

There are too many eggs. I don't know what to do with them all, and all the egg shaped furniture DIY recipes enacted upon I fear would make me look like some crazed egg-obsessed man you'd shy away from if I placed inside my house. What to do, what to do?

Hi VickyPineapple,

Being shy is fine. I’m shy. A lot of us are.

I’ve added your friend code and town details up the first post, which should be up to date. I think I met you in Jem’s town last week, so hi again.

As far as I’ve seen posted, Nook’s Cranny seems to upgrade to the next store after a set number (28) of days have passed or once a store spend threshold has been reached, whichever occurs first.

Author:  Dimrill [ Tue Apr 07, 2020 21:26 ]
Post subject:  Re: Animal Crossing Switch

Hi Vicky! I shall pester you shortly :P

If this one conforms to the previous versions, Nook's shop upgrades after a certain amount of pennies have been spent in it. I wouldn't be surprised if this first one was delayed to get the introductory story out of the way first though.

@Romanista Stripping works, but it's slow. Firstly make sure insects spawn on the island you're on by checking flowers. Then you have to remove everything an insect could spawn on. Trees, tree stumps, flower heads (I just kept running over them to burst them), and rocks. Then you have to run around scaring off wharf roaches and tiger beetles. My main problem doing that was mole crickets. It's not quick.
