Still open Meems? I'll swing by and drop off some nice things. :)

I'm happy about my island now. Still work to do, but it's coming along nicely. In the probable words of Sterling when I next swing by his house, "Yo! I'm super-pumped about this island! It just makes me want to flex! RRRRGH!" or something.

In other news Argh, my turnip prices are rubbish and diminishingly so!

Thank you for the amazing community spirit and help, here. @Miki very kindly helped Darwin to get a new room for his little house, and he was super-excited to pay off his loan and get another room to fill with the randomly decorated stuff of his dreams. @Jem sent me an awesome UFO for my star room this morning and it is SO cool and has really, really cheered me up :D

Ooh I'd love to see :DD

My gates are now open for anyone who wants to visit. Please be aware my island is still undergoing remodelling - by the end of this week I hope for big things! Yus!

Thankee for coming to my island, Miki, Kern and Ross-Fam. Lovely having you around. Animal Crossing's most fraught mini-game remains trying to do street photography of visitors before they run out of shot! :)

Oh blow, can you not? I know people like the turtles and I have no use for them otherwise.

I also have a spare telescope.

Edit: No, I just checked and you can't gift fish. How annoying!

Was in a bit of a rush this morning, so I've not properly looked around, but I saw that Leif's here again. Gate is open (hopefully my internet will behave better today)

Also, thank you to both Mimi and Miki who both had the idea of sending me their paintings :D :luv:

Also, last night I had a bit of a tidy-up of my spare fossils to weed out the duplicates and put them in some kind of order. I figured that if I can maintain a spare set of fossils, it'll help people who need to complete their set.

This is the layout:

Yes, I have too much time on my hands :)

(turns out I had 12 duplicates so I made a fair bit of cash from the effort yesterday at least)

Very odd that the Western Style Stone is an actual grave. I won't be building that one.

As there is a stamp for presumably trying to donate a fake piece of art and they can't be sold, I've left the fake I bought yesterday on my island in case someone wants to borrow it to try and trigger the stamp on their own island. I figure that if Redd is going to pop up so infrequently, it'll save someone having to waste their visit buying a fake just to get the stamp. If it works, then I guess it could be passed around.

Is that the Vitruvian Man one? If it’s not wanted as a fake and people are dine with collecting the fake donation stamp, I wouldn’t mind it for the main room in my house.

Sorry, Nervy P, I’ve only just seen this!! I wasn’t on long yesterday as Darwin was wanting to explore his expanded house, so I missed you :(

I spent this morning moving a few flowers. I need to get rid of a few but it’s slow, and I realise now that I still have a fair bit of breeding to do.

My son's turnips are 318 this afternoon if anyone needs to sell. DM or WhatsApp (07521056376) for dodo code.

ETA: closing the gate for now but shoot me a message later if anyone needs to come by

Funnily I just saw one on a tree stump! Didn't have a net though as I was in the middle of turnip hustle.

I did the same and it was there a fortnight but I never saw a fly once and I got fed up of looking at it.

I left a boot next to my house, after a few days there was a fly and I caught it and gave it to Blathers and then sold the boot
I left 10 turnips next to my house for over a week, then a line of ants came and I caught that
one of my villagers told me they were itchy and I thought they needed antihistamine so I gave them medicine, they were grateful and left and I later read up and found what was really going on

I’ll have to try again with the trash heap. I’ve got 10 turnips to spoil this weekend for an ant as well.

Thank you for the painting, DM, it’s hanging under my wall light. I do have another fake (Quaint) painting if anybody wants a Redd fake for an achievement. When Redd came Darwin REALLY wanted to buy a painting for me, though the only real one had already gone. :luv:

I got my four flies. I found that they never settle on tyres. Only ever saw them on cans and boots.

ah yes, that makes sense
I usually get 1 thing for Blathers and one more to give to Katie because she loves the bugs and fish randomly and has her own little museum in her house and a hermit crab next to her bed (in AC)

Nothing much to report, although I'm due shooting stars later, so I'll try and remember to have my gate open tonight.

we only recently got into statues, we started with the queen alexandra butterfly - or as Katie calls it "baby Bertha" and the statue is brilliantly huge
so then we asked for a agrias butterfly, that is quite small in comparison but very bright
Im saving up for a Atlas moth, but I am horrendously bad at catching those so I need one more
but I love that katie is not just interested in the butterflies, her little museum also has lots of bugs and she is especially interested in the hermit crab, maybe we should get a statue of that!

I’ve got a couple of bug head statues on plaques that you can hang in a wall, that I can order from Nook shopping if they are any interest to Katie, Miki?

I’m on a ‘fluctuating’ pattern so currently at 53, but will keep an eye out. I don’t think I’ll get up to your buying price in my town, though. Surely there’ll be opportunity to at least break even between all of our towns, though. I’ll keep checking!

I think mine are around 150 today if you wanted a small profit. However, as they were 40-something yesterday, I'm wondering if they might go higher tomorrow.

Happy to sell at anything above purchase price and forget a big profit this week! Kids nap time is probably my best opportunity, around 12:30/13:00.
