My policy of buying everything at Nooks is getting expensive. Yesterday had 53,000 for a piano, today 60,000 for a 20inch TV :S

Bunny day recipes free for whoever needs them:

Wreath
Table
Merry Balloons
Floor
Wall
Bag
Crown x2

I suspect more will follow as they spawn more reliably than flies.

It's irritating you can't put them in storage. Or flowers.

I'd love for there to be an option to join in with whatever your villagers are doing at any given time. I've stumbled across my rabbit Gabi doing Tai Chi on the beach but can only stand and watch. Also my sheep Dom is awesome at doing aerobics each morning in the town square before joyously running around headfirst with his hands behind him. I want to do that!

Five of. Y. Illagers gather each day to run around the town square with their hands behind them, all criss-Crossing. I want to join in with Nook and Isabelle’s stretches.

Absolutely you can, Dimrill.

I seem to have all of the bunny day recipes, whoop!

Massively off boil with the Sakura, though. And now it’s just sort of floating around everywhere but fake non-catchable pieces it’s even harder to get. BTW, if anyone has spare Sakura and the Sakura bonsai recipe, craft yourself a spare as the Sakura bonsai is used as an ingredient in another recipe x

Hullo all, I created a new Twitter account as wiser heads have suggested in this thread. It'll be a nice diary for my Animal Crossing bumbling. I've added a few of you I know on Twitter as @'s to the two posts thus far. If you rather I didn't @ you with such ground breaking news as, "I'm sitting on a bench and it is peaceful," and, "Oh look, a new lamp," then please throw things at me now. You can find me @AnimalPevans

Say, how do you embed your twitter posts on here anyway?

Gosh, I'm really enjoying this retreat. Just built a bridge! Anyone up for an island visit tomorrow round lunchtime? I'm pretty sure you're all pretty far ahead of me but I'm super stoked now that I've discovered I can move trees about and stuff. Whether my property will remain a beachside property I don't know, had notions of making it more remote eventually up north of the island, but I'm quite enjoying my set-up at the moment. Hugs. xx

This is what I did - started on the beach and retreated to the uppermost cliff. Bloomin' pricey though :'(

Your town is lovely, VickyPineapple! The paved areas and everything are very pretty indeed! It’s all very well planned and executed. My town is very empty by comparison.

PS: sorry I was in and back out so quickly and unceremoniously. We start putting our little boy to bed at 6:30 so I was trying to sneak in and out whilst going through the whole bedtime prep :)

Haha, I wouldn’t have wanted to be an imposition, and I’ll be back to visit another time for a proper look around as I want to have a really good explore of your landscaping, and you’re always welcome to pop by my town (though it is far behind your island).

Thank you for the lovely little glimpse I had. Can’t wait to see the rest!

You can’t build a slope with cliff building, no, but you can still buy slope construction kits. Also, I like to make a little 2 block extension out from a cliff and run the slope parallel to the cliff edge as it keeps it very neat (the first two were done end on as I didn’t have my construction permits at that time, but I may change them in the future)

Right, so I have the following duplicate recipes at the moment:

Bunny Day lamp
Bunny Day wall clock
Bunny Day rug
Bunny Day wall

Pear wardrobe
Wooden-block bench
Peach surprise box

I'll open my gates at 12:30 GMT for half an hour or so, then again this evening (time to be confirmed). Recipes are on the beach bit to the left of the airport. Help yourself. :)

Well at the moment I'm around all the time Mimi, so I don't really mind :)

My town is only good because I have spent over 60 hours on it haha, this is also my second town. I didn't like my original map and after I learned about time travel I knew I could safely catch up to present day without too much hassle. Resetting also meant I knew what would happen and when so I was able to better manage the layout with what I wanted.

Now I just play it day to day like everyone else, no more time shenanigans :P

Amazing islandage!

Nice little thing I've just noticed: when returning from travelling somewhere there are plane trails in the sky!

Hello VickyPineapple, I love your name! I'm Pete - or should I say Pevans - it's early days for my island but I do like the little blossomy entrance I made and quiet garden grove by my house as I dip my toes into replanting trees and such. I'd love to visit your island! Meanwhile, I'm opening my gates to anyone who wishes to swing by today. Pray forgive the clumsy deployment of the shop, awkwardly placed too close to Tom Nook's tent. He's already drawn attention to this with a mildly cutting aside.

I am wearing an Earthforce uniform I made from Babylon 5, as I am a desperate obscure 90's scifi nerd. That will tide me over until I design a nice Van Gogh style artists smock and straw hat.

Will open the gates again around 6pm for those who missed the lunch time opening (which went from "half an hour" play to about 3hrs doing renovation/DIY on the top right of my island, ha)

After still never seeing Tarantula Island I landed on Bamboo Island today and stripped it and I’d say it was a very good contender for turning into a Tarantula Island if you landed there.

A gently pungent reminder that you've only got today (10th) and tomorrow (11th) to collect the cherry blossom recipes. The list is here. I got 90% of mine through normal balloon drops, which make a deeper swooshing noise than bunny day ones. Other ways you can get them are via bottles on the beach (both your island and Nook Miles micro islands), finding one of your residents vigorously masturbating in their houses and blackmailing them, or just random gifts from them as they call your name.

If you can't be bothered or haven't the time to collect them, luckily for you you know a vast pile of wretched human fæces that's collected them all already and can be persuaded to visit your gaff and build anything you've accrued the materials for. Have a look at that link above for what's required.

I didn’t, no. To be honest I haven’t asked for any models yet as I don’t know what I’d do with them, so I sort of discounted the idea. What are you doing with yours?

I think I’m missing about five recipes off of that list and will check my petals when I get up to see what I have to see if I need any more, but would greatly appreciate help. I had my second floor to my house built last night so hopefully will get to see how that’s looking today.

I didn’t realise the Sakura stone was a recipe, either! After seeing yours yesterday I moved my pond stone twice (nearer blossom trees) to try and get blossom to land in it :DD

Did you save three for a statue?

I didn’t, no. To be honest I haven’t asked for any models yet as I don’t know what I’d do with them, so I sort of discounted the idea. What are you doing with yours?

Currently just putting them into storage. But my brayun can't let em go knowing that they're there. That one room on the right in my house is filled with groups of 3 insects for when Flick turns up. If he's a once a week person it'll take 33 weeks before I've cleared just that room :S

Oh, will he only make one model at a time? I’ve just got my top room built and it’s huge (bigger than the main room downstairs) so might be good for storage/display when you have them?

I have 98 slowraks so I think that’s about enough? Will craft what I have and re-check. Going to open gates and stick the rest of my spare recipes by the airport.

Yeah both he and CJ will only take one commission per visit.

On returning to my island I shot down a golden balloon with the recipe for the golden slingshot in it. I was worried I wouldn't get that as I shot one down yesterday only to have the package bounce into my plaza and de-spawn >:|
