also a beekeeper i sort of protest as Wasp as the representation of social insects... their hive is far more 'papier-mâché' in realize, than the bee honey-colour here... and i had to make my honeyhive-floor with 5 wasp nests!

I’ve read that evicted villagers bug thing twice now, and I don’t understand. Is that only a problem if there is more than one (human) villager on your island?

I think it happens when you badmouth a former camping guest/neo-villager to leave

I hope they patch that soon.

I have a question about trying to make flower hybrids. It says I must water them every day, but is that every day until they are fully grown, or every day forever? I’m on a two-a-day watering can habit.

Just had a little nose around on my lunch break and I'm a bit behind everyone else now I think, but Midge, Peanut and Sherb have moved in now.

I'll leave the gate open while I work in case anyone wants to pop in and have a nose or grab a fossil. There's currently:
Left Megalo Side
Diplo Chest
Archelon Skull
Plesio Skull

Mimi - Gaz's friend code stuff needs adding to the first post. :)

It's a crying shame that you can't open your gate to approved friends even when you're offline.

If you shake the tree from the front you'll automatically turn when the wasps drop, so don't need to move to catch them - just press A

Aha!

As far as I can ascertain, it's water them once and they start to sparkle for the rest of the day. When they're like that they're more likely to spread or mutate the next day. At least it's not like the previous games where they die if you don't water them.

Ah, brill, thank you. I’m glad they don’t break when someone runs through them, too. I haven’t noticed any grass wear, either, but maybe too early days to count on that.

Well, as it is currently, it wouldn't.

But they could store your island in The Cloud and make it visitable when you're offline.

I mean, they won't, but it's a shame that they won't.

Shake all the trees first :) You only get a set amount of five nests a day, and two of the trees have furniture hidden in them so it's worth doing.

I think you’ve got some anti social behaviour. It looks like the rabbit is having a widdle against the corner of the town hall.

With the bunny day recipes might it be worth just putting any duplicates aside in case people need a missing one near the end of the event. I’ve already got at least one duplicate.

The dirty posh smug scrote Hippeaux was wandering around infested with fleas. I only hope they were causing his nipsy trouble.

I had Flick yesterday who pays over the odds for insects. He also asks for three of the same species to make a statue of them for you if you so desire. So now I'm putting three of each insect in storage ready for him when he turns up next.

That’s exactly the same as CJ, then. So start gathering up fish if you’re looking for those models for CJ’s visit.

I missed out on a couple of the ones that ended in March, so hopefully I can at least get these ones. I don't really mind too much in missing some though as I'm sure I'll still be playing it next time they roll around.

I think my favourite thing in the game so far is when you come across Sylvia randomly singing to herself. :)

What was this that unlocked for you, Rick? If it’s a huge thing maybe spoiler it, but I caught that and I don’t think it prompted anything to unlock for me.

This door? It appears to have the insect chap’s face on the signage, so maybe something that unlocks after a certain number/all of the bugs?

I looked at this a bit closer tonight and it’s not a door. It’s an insect screen that you shine a bright light into in a forest, etc, and all the moths fly into it and get trapped for study. If you look close enough the wall behind it reaches all of the way down to the floor.

The Sodding Hippo has now gifted me 2 things after I complained to Isabelle. I'm sort of tempted to keep him for the time being, but not stop him if he wants to go on his own. My lovely Sheep Dude tried to move out today! No friggin way.

Can you play this game on offline multiplayer on one switch? Jen wants to play, and I want her to play so that she gets addicted and then I can also play more.

Yes, you can each take one of the joy cons and play together. You each have to create your own little house on the island you share.

First post should be up to date. @Zaphod and @sdg have both been added. If I’ve missed anybody please let me know so that I can find a new and unexpected way to mess it up.

Brilliant! She’s just started her game and it’s taken her to my island which is quite embarrassing because now she’s discovered I live in a tent full of fish and I’ve left a note on the town bulletin board which is just a picture of a smiley face.

Will get a two player game on the go later when Neve is in bed :)
