Thank you so much for my Starry Night for my house, Miki. I’ve put it in my night-sky themed basement for now. I think I just play at the wrong times, but I’ve not seen a meteor shower (heavy or light) for about three months.

Whereas I've had 3 one after the other 8) which I put down to the recent update. Although I'd not played in the evening for weeks prior so don't know if it's just coincidence. If you need any star fragments Mimi, let me know. I have loads of fragments now but barely any recipes that use them so they're just stuck in storage :DD

One of my villagers was DIYing this morning so at least that's solved that pickle I was having.

For the meteor showers I have found it amazingly helpful to do the meteonook weather seed
I now know I havent missed any big meteor showers, and it shows me to the second when the small ones are so I can still get some wishes in

this is me for this evening

It's essentially like a bed, so if you walk up to it, your character should roll onto it. :)

Got my final Scarab this morning and just wrapped up my four Walker Cicadas. Still yet to catch another three cicada shells and golden stags by the end of the month though. Why are the shells so rare given the amount of actual cicadas?! Grump.

How come you're after a certain number of each one?

Ah, of course. :) It's a shame the bug stuff can't be gifted as I've seen at least four of the shells. I think I'm still missing a few of the others though - I need to check.

You can gift the models, if that helps. Someone from the discord group gave me an Ocean Sunfish model yesterday as I was short one fish. He’s my favourite.

@Miki, thank you so very much for the star fragments. I wasn’t trying to ask for some, (but thank you, and thank you for the offer, @Jem), but I’m still working on my cute space/star themed basement, so they are lovely. Eventually I want to fill it with nova lights and little star pieces. I’ve got the moon and a few other bits, but it will get there slowly and eventually.

I DO have a cheeky request of folks, though.

If anyone finishes their catalogue shopping for the day and has any spare slots to send gifts to others, could folks send me BOOKS?

I have started building a library, and for some reason thought I’d bought bookcases, but I haven’t. I went to buy bookcases and realised I don’t have them catalogued and only have two books, and they take five each!

Indeed, even better if someone has a book for sale so I can nip in and buy 20 or 30 of the things, that’d also be great.

@mimi, I have so many, and also many Leo bits because this is my birthday month and apparently you get more from your birthday month, if you need more just let us know!
I saw people with what looked like small Nova lights, but they are actually the star clock placed back-to-front and they are adorable!
I also have the sunfish, I thought it would be bigger but it is so cute!

@Dimrill Thank you ever so much. Sorry for all of the confusion. Russell was in control
And trying to type, then Darwin was in control and trying to type, and I wanted to type on the app but it had signed me out, then... it was just chaos, but thank you ever so much. I’ll start working in the library once Darwin has gone to bed. It’ll be less confusing that way.

@Miki, that’s so kind, thank you. Hopefully I’ll get the clock recipe from Celeste soon and put a couple of those in, too.

I wasn't too fussed about making a big profit on Turnips this week so I sold mine at 192 this morning. So of course the afternoon price is 566.

https://twitter.com/underlogic_sw/statu ... 6246156288

I've reopened the gate and will leave it open most of the evening in case anyone wants to sell.

I love it. It’s so awesome down here and the rocket is so WHOOSH-y!

Thank you so much everyone. Thank you Dimmers, and Kern, and Jem and Miki. I have made a couple of bookcases already and hopefully will be able to make some tomorrow, too. I have a book stand from Kern, also, which is so kind and thoughtful, thank you. Then hopefully I’ll get some comfy chats and lamps, a reading table, etc.

Forgot to actually tweet the screenshots I took, but the gate is open again. Turnips are down unsurprisingly and are now 155. Kicks is around and it's Bunnie's first day on the island.

So I've done a thing
a kind person on the Discord had all the buyable KK Slider songs to catalog and I had quite a few already so I have been diligently buying the others and now I have all buyable KK slider songs laid out on my island to catalog!

So if someone wants to come do that please let me know, I am way to all-over-the-place to have my island open all the time (stupid you can't do anything with the gate open) so nudge me with a PM or something!

Edit: in other news, for reasons I have bought amiibos of NPCs because they are so incredibly cute
so that means if anyone wants I can send posters of Blathers, Celeste, Isabelle and Pascal

So I've been slowly watching my turnip price slide down over the week and was going to post today about anyone with a price above 100 to sell however they took a spike up today

Attachment:
turnip.png

So tomorrow afternoon should be the spike if anyone still has turnips to sell

In other news, Russell has got the amiibo writing thing now and we tested it and I now have Poppy at the campsite. Squirrell Island, here I come!

Russell is going to sign in as me and head over as I’m in the bath, so if he’s struggling to type, that’s why (as I have tge chat in my phone, in the bathroom, listening to an audiobook).

I bought the books. I found your message in a bottle as well so I picked it up to take to your house but on the way I saw you lazing on the beach so I tried to drop it there. But then I had to open it so I dropped just the recipe next to your lounger. Also one that Pashmina was crafting.

Thanks to everyone who helped with getting books for the library. It’s getting there, and I think recognisably a library, now.

I still need some kind of Library check-out, if anybody had any ideas? I don’t know if there’s a till, or maybe a desktop pc would be better. I’m sure over seen pics of a PC on some screenshots. And I think I’ll put a couple more lamps I , too.

Rick on the Discord has recently done his and posted some pictures, I think he chose a desktop in the end
somewhere else I saw they made a childrens section which also looked adorable and very library like - I will see if I can find a picture

this is not the picture I remember but I do think having a child section is cute
