Turnips are 99 bells. The sold item was a laptop, so just let me know if you want me to order one for you.

Quick question AC folks. My nephew likes the idea of Animal Crossing but only has an Xbox. Is Stardew Valley a good substitute? Any other suggestions?

I have no experience with it @DavPaz but from what I've heard the general feel and mechanics are similar, but it does look very different (like 2d and simple)

I've had zero replies to my offer of art, are ppl too busy or genuinely not needing art?

Hi all, I’ve been a bit absent recently. Still been playing but just not feeling too chipper. I called by DM’s today for the first time in ages, and picked up a song and a recipe, and left a good few others, but I’m not sure if they are interest. There was a knight’s helmet, and a few other bits including a cutting board, if anyone is still after that.

I’m not collecting any fake bits of art in particular, but if there’s a fake version of Botticelli’s Venus that ever turns up, I do just love that. Or any Van Gogh (especially Starry Night) :D

I'm sorry you've not been feeling too good :luv: I hope you' start to feel a bit better and that we have chance to meet up sometime. Life and circumstance can get in the way though X

I have some fake statues, but I have quite a few real paintings to give away, not to sell of course
which painting do you have @Abeille, I will send you two others in the post

@mimi are you missing any real paintings? I will keep an eye out for a fake Starry night if you want to use it for decorating, but I have a real one if you want it for your museum edit: duh there is no fake starry night
I hope you feel better soon :luv:

Edit: anyone who wants to can also put their missing paintings in the classifieds and I can see what I have :)

For me I've only had (or seen) Redd on the island once and bought a single piece of art which was not fake
But I'm still at the 'get 10 people on the island and tart it up' to get KK to play so I'm a long way behind everyone else

Thank you so much for Starry Night, Miki. I wasn’t for one second thinking of the genuine one, but it is beautiful and made Blathers happy and is my favourite part of the museum, now. What a beautiful painting. I have bags, my laptop keyboard, badges, etc all with it on. Also one of my favourite songs, Starry Starry Night.

DM, I meant to say I popped by your island yesterday and picked up one of the fossils Russell’s boss was missing and also dug the other up on my island, so he has a complete fossil selection, now, too :)

@mimi, it is so lovely isn't it
Have you seen the film Home? there is a lovely little alien and he doesn't understand the painting and then he looks at lights through a rainy car windscreen
very nice that another fossil collection has been completed!

Seriously peeps, still have a good few real paintings looking for a happy home! let me know what you're missing!

I'm at more or less the same stage you are except I've got the 10 villagers. KK hasn't been to visit me yet

Just realised my turnips are 481 this afternoon if anyone needs to sell. Dodo code is 6H0K6.

I'll be putting the kids to bed etc though so please don't think me rude if I don't reply :luv:

I ended up buying the kitchen island for myself, but if anyone wants one ordering, just let me know.

Turnip prices have tanked - they're now 55.

Thank you :) My price is 133 this morning if that's any use. I'm not sure how to leave the gate open though. I assume that you leave it on the base but don't put it to sleep. Is that right?

Yes, you'd need to change the console's power settings so that it didn't automatically shut down after a period of time. :)

It might log me out before I have a chance to look again. I'll put up a message when I'm back if that price is good for anyone :)

@mimi please send me the list of paintings you're missing in the museum, I still have art looking for a home

If no-one here is interested in the fake statues for decoration I will offer them somewhere else :)

Thanks for sending me the beautiful statue btw miki - it looks perfect in my museum garden. :luv:

Decided to add a second user to my AC game so that I could have a 'clubhouse', so have mostly been doing that up - going to have a restaurant, bar, board games room etc. :D

I'm not sure what I've got but I'll have a look in a bit. To be honest, I've not been paying too much attention as feeling a bit rotten this past week or so, so have likely missed a few posts! :S

I did think my turnips were just on declining but they jumped up this afternoon so i'm either on

Big peak which will be Thursday afternoon (low 145 / high 624) or small peak which will be between 145 and 208 but would be one of Thur AM / Thurs PM / Fri AM / Fri PM

Tomorrow morning probably wont tell so I'll only know after 12:00 - if its decent i'll post the number and a dodo code

I was getting jumpy yesterday with 4 straight declines the odds that i was on the declining pattern was about 70% and if i had the chance to sell yesterday for 140 (which is a fine profit) I'd have probably took it.

@zaphod79 if you do end up popping a Dodo Codo up would it be ok if I shared that with Russell’s boss to sell?
