I got bitten on the bit of beach just behind the seaplane. Wasn't expecting it, and wasn't sure if it was a bad thing, so took some medicine just in case.

I don’t think the mosquito bites harm you.

I don’t know how I’m ever going to catch one, though. Would be helpful if they made a mosquito-ish noise!

So they can be just as annoying as in real life!

Similarly, whenever I open the game and it's pelting it down at Wits' End, I always feel slightly annoyed despite there being absolutely no chance of me getting wet!

I've caught about 5 I think and been bitten a few times
the bite stops whatever you're doing for a little bit, which was fine until it happened during fishing at which point I started catching them in self defense, bloody nuisances (as I look at the huge lump on my real life hand)
I'm sorry you're having a hard time finding them mimi, I think they come around at dusk and they really are super small and hard to catch

Yeah, I’ve been enjoying the wedding event more Ghana I thought I would, so I’ve done it every day. The items are ok, but I quite enjoy composing the shots.

Turnip price is up to around 130 (you'd think I'd be able to remember one number when going from the Switch to the laptop), so I guess it might creep up a little more this afternoon.

I popped by, dropped off a few bits. Eugene is making double wooden beds at 10:15 if anyone is looking for the crafting villager.

Turnips are 100, so not great. There's someone at the campsite too.

Hi. How's everyone doing this week? Good I hope! I keep meaning to buy turnips but forget it's only until 12! Oops. I've had to put a reminder for myself for next week.

I have been feeling very crummy, but I have done some things in Animal Crossing :)
I've made a cafe next to the museum because what National Trust place doesn't have a place for cream tea?
for lack of scones I've put the wedding cake up

I have also made a little icecream place near the beach, it was going to be a tiki bar but then a friend sent me two icecream lamps so cute!

and I'm still breeding tulips (need more purple and black) so the museum gardens have to wait until the space is free

also I now have 10 villagers!

Right - only two possible patterns for my turnips

So either tomorrow morning is over 152 and the big peak is tomorrow afternoon
or tomorrow morning is less than 152 and my small peak is tomorrow afternoon / or Wednesday

I finally caught my mosquito. That was slightly annoying, only as it was so hard to see and I couldn’t tell if it was on the game or a fruit fly hovering around the TV, and it took me several swings of the net to finally bag it. I still couldn’t hear it, but I think I tend to have the TV pretty quiet.

I’ve only got one bug to go (the one that is only found in coconut trees). Russell planted a few more coconuts to hopefully encourage one to spawn, but I’ve not seen one yet.

I caught my first two mosquitos yesterday, but I heard them before I could see them.. damned tiny things.

Gate is open again, but nothing too exciting to report. Turnips are around 120, so hopefully they are on the way up.

Ooh, I might pop by and see what Sahara has IG that’s ok? I don’t have any turnips so if it’s busy I’ll leave it to the traders.

Feel free to pop along - I'll leave my gate open - my island is still at an early point (I have only just got the notification of the upgrade to nooks cranny which will be tomorrow) - so no fancy paths or anything like that - from the airport nooks cranny is only a few short steps up and the town square just above that

Aw, were you with the red hair/shaved sides, Jem? There was a bit of a traffic jam of people arriving, so I didn’t see who was who! I bothered Sahara for some new wallpaper in case she had the cafe curtain in (she didn’t: it’s a tree lined wall and racetrack flooring), and just popped into the shop to look really, then went home in case others were on their way. I like your town, Zaphod. It’s very close in layout to mine.

Gate is open for a couple of hours in case anyone wants to pop by and grab a recipe from Celeste.

Speaking of recipes, it was nice to get the golden slingshot recipe from a balloon earlier.

thanks DM! I had a quick trip as well to see Celeste and to have a quick look at the fossils

my friend made a mistake and she thought she gave blathers the last fossil, but no
then I gave her what was missing from the beginning aaaand, no
so now we found out she is missing a Diplo Skull but it's not at the fossil field (I left 2 other ones though)

It only took a minute to sort them out anyway. Oh and Butch seemed rather pleased with the Mimi original design he was wearing - 'Mummy's Jumper' :)
