I am about half way to laying off my final loan, but I just add a few thousand each day. I don’t find the turnips particularly stressful, but then I only buy twelve bunches, so I don’t spend a great deal, about 12,000.

I bought the rocket from your shop, DM, and dropped a couple of recipes down.

Haha, that’s funny. I’ve seen all those types on Reddit. It’s bizarre the way some people behave, but that’s not my game at all. Each to their own (apart from the scammers, which I’m sure have truly upset a lot of players).

The large beach in that last screenshot has me wondering - can you amend the beach part of an island?

I bought ~700,000 bells worth this week 8)

No, that’s a fixed size and shape. The bottom left part of my beach is like that.

I think it is luck of the draw, my beach has a nice corner like this on the left side that sticks out into the pier so its quite large.

According to the Turnip Prognosticator (all hail the Turnip Prognosticator), I have a 95% chance of a large spike in neep prices on Thursday afternoon.

Ah ok. There was one bit down the left side of my island that was bugging me as I couldn't get a path where I wanted it so I was hoping to fill in a bit of the beach. In the end, I just smashed down a bit of cliff instead. :)

Hi. I'm new to the forum AND to Animal Crossing. (I've still got a tent at the moment... that's how new I am!) It'd be good to make friends here and in-game and visit different islands, and so my hubby (Alex... I forgot to ask him what his i.d is on here) gave me the link to this thread. As some of you might already know, we live on the Isle of Man (our real life island) with our daughter Becca. The lockdown is giving me a chance to try a new game as I'm usually a WoW playing "mono-gamer". I hope this message finds you all well.

They mostly hop on to bite my fingers which they have come to associate with almonds.

Because your hands are made from marzipan?

Do you have more than one, then?

Edit: birb, not hand.

I have as many birbos as I do hands, which regrettably (or maybe fortunately?) aren't made from marzipan.

Is someone here a baseball fan or making a baseball themed something?
I received a (huge) plastic table in the shape of a baseball cap and a seat in the shape of a catchers mitt

Another day, another opportunity to buy bags and shoes.

Still Redd has not been back to see me since that first day. Each morning I think to myself that OBVIOUSLY he must be here today, but nope. Three weeks and counting.

Saw my first shooting stars last night:

Seems that searching them out is addictive like fishing is - I saw 31 in all :D

Gate is open:

If anyone sees a star fragment or two they need for a recipe, feel free to grab them. I've picked up a few already and have enough to maybe build the hideous Taurus bath :)

Turnip prices are at 374 at my island if anyone wants in. I sold mine at Vicky's earlier in the week but I'll open my gates just in case.

Finally unlocked all the landscaping tools. Feels like the real work is about to begin haha.

I'm collecting things to turn my island into a sci-fi themed world.
I've got a good collection of spacey bits, but happy to trade for anything on this list: https://villagerdb.com/user/lilishly/list/items
Of course, I'll also open my gates if I have good turnip prices.

Going to do something with forced perspective which oughta be good if it works :)

I went to visit an island this week without knowing who’s it was but having caught up on this thread I now realise it was Devilmans! I also saw someone else there and failed miserable at remembering how to work the chat, only getting as far as an emote once I’d figured that out.

Will need to remember to check here for turnip prices next week. I got the switch out specially on Sunday morning to buy some and sold them at 120 so not a massive profit.

I’m just loading the game up now once baby has settled, am I on time for Romanistas birthday party?

Thank you everyone for the welcome. I appreciate that very much. I've not been playing tonight though as I'm not feeling 100% due to an ongoing thing. Abeille *is* French. I called myself after my Death Knight in WoW. She's a gnome (as in my pic on here) and tiny so I thought Abeille would be a good name. "Float like a butterfly. Sting like ..." (I'm easily amused!). I'll go and find the part of the thread where you mention beekeeping. I know a local beekeeper here. It must be really fascinating.

Hi all my Switch code is 4286-2459-1502, I'm sending out friend requests if you see one from me please add!

My island is called 'Randish', my online name is 'Vicki' (I think).

I am also Vicky but my villager's name is Pippy so we wont have too much confusion haha.
I don't know where pippy came from but I do know its what I have always called my villager since the day Jem bought me a DS so I could play wild world. Thanks Jem :P
